Gina, And Her Triplet Alphas

Chapter 54

Third-Person Narrative.

Later that evening, while Gina and her triplets were having dinner in her apartment, she decided to tell them about how she and her maid were almost lynched by rogues and how she miraculously survived.

Devon was the first to react; he asked her if she had sustained injuries, and she happily told him that she did not.

Derrick asked her to be more careful next time she is going out and to always ensure that she goes with someone. She smiled, thanked him, and promised to be more careful.

They all continued with their meal in silence, and she couldn’t help but look at Denver, who was slowly munching his food, and she wondered why he was not saying anything.

Does he not care, or did he not hear what she said?

“Denver, are you not going to say something?” she questioned, feeling a little uncomfortable with his quietness.

He lifted his eyes to give her a cold stare that sent chills down her spine before returning his attention to his food.

She could tell he was angry, and she couldn’t understand why. Did she do or say anything wrong?

After dinner, Devon and Derrick helped her clear out the dishes, while Denver left the apartment almost instantly.

Derrick noticed his brother’s sour mood and went ahead to ask Gina what the problem was.

She told Derrick that she didn’t understand why Denver was upset and that they had not had any fights or anything.

Derrick informs her that she should try to figure out what the issue was and fix it because he is sure that Denver is angry about something she must have done.

When Devon and Derrick left her apartment, she decided to go and see Denver in his room.

On getting to his room, she discovered that he was not in and was going to return to her apartment when she saw Gwen.

“What are you doing here, you little piece of junkyard?” Gwen questioned her while sizing her up like some piece of trash.

Gina, not wanting to get involved in a fight with her, ignored her completely and made her walk past her.

“I am talking to you; were you not told to remain in the little cave that was assigned to your desperate fat a*s?” Gwen said, pulling Gina back by dragging her dress and ripping it a little in the process.

Angrily, Gina’s hand collided with Gwen’s face hastily, which left an after-effects fingerprint mark on Gwen’s face.

“How dare you?” Gwen ranted as she instinctively made to fight with her, but she was no match.

She was severely beaten by Gina until her face was all swollen and bruised. Just then, Denver walked in to see them fighting, and he separated them, dragging Gina to his room.

Gina was still boiling in rage as the craving to beat Gwen consumed her.

“What are you doing?” Denver angrily barked at her as soon as they were alone in his room.

“You should go and ask her; she started it,” Gina answered angrily.

“Couldn’t you just ignore her?” he fired at her.

“I tried to, but she pushed her luck too far,” she retorted.

“Why do you always like putting yourself in danger, and what are you doing here?” He questioned.

“I wouldn’t be here if you weren’t acting all sad like a baby,” she snapped at him.

“I am not a f*****g baby, and watch your tongue,” he said dismissively to her.

“Or what? You will hit me; what the f**k is going on with you? I don’t understand you; I told you how I and my maid were almost attacked by rogues, and you act like you don’t care; what was that for?” She questioned him, obviously irritated by his nonchalant attitude.

“And what were you expecting me to say? To apologize or that you should be careful next. It puzzles me that after all that has happened to you, you are still very careless about yourself,” he spurred at her.Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

“I don’t understand, “she said, trying to understand what he was driving at.

“Why did you have to go after Lucia? Couldn’t you have called me or any of my brothers to go search for her instead of going to find her yourself? What if you were kidnapped, raped, or worse, killed?” he said, his eyes flashing angrily.

“But none of that happened,” she said in a calmer voice.

“Yeah, it did not happen now; it might happen eventually,” he said, resting his back on the door.

“I don’t understand; is that why you are angry?” Gina questioned him, surprised that he was mad at her for not calling him or his brothers to help her find Lucia.

He doesn’t answer her but walks towards his wardrobe and starts taking off his shoes.

“Okay, I’m sorry. I promise I will call you guys when I am in any sort of danger,” she said calmly to him.

“Not when you are in trouble, but when you notice anything that threatens your security,” he said, his voice a little relaxed now.

“Yes, sir,” she said playfully.

He looked at her and smiled.

He took slow but even steps to where she was standing and wrapped his hand around her waist.

“You are a feisty one; you know that, right?” He questioned her, staring into her eyes.

“No, I am not,” she debunked shyly.

“You should learn to control your temper,” he said, as he gently stroked her face.

“Perhaps you should be telling that b***h to learn how to control her tongue,” she said.

“MMM, well, guess what?” he said.

“What?” she questioned.

“Every time you decide to fight someone for being unruly towards you, I will make sure I punish you. And when you beat the person silly like you did that b***h, I will make sure my name is the only thing you remember when my c**k is buried deep inside you, he said as his hand gently moved to her a*s,” giving it a gentle squeeze.

“Tell me how you intend to punish me,” she said to him in a very seductive voice.

“I will not tell you; I will show you,” he said as his lips possessively took over hers in a domineering yet passionate k**s.

News quickly got to Lucas Amel that his daughter had been beaten by the slave girl, and he was out for b***d.

He was no longer sure of Anesi’s standpoint, and he figured the only way he could eliminate Gina was to do things his way.

Just as he was still thinking of how to eliminate Gina, Lucia appeared in his room. He is a little startled but quickly recollects himself.

“Hello, Beta Lucas, “Lucia called out to him while wearing a friendly smile.

“What are you doing here?” He spurred at her.

“Oh, Beta, I thought you would be happy to see me,” she said with a little chuckle as she moved around the room.

“And why should I be happy? “You have failed in doing what I brought you here for,” he said angrily to her.

“You can’t say I failed when you have yet to keep your end of the bargain,” she said, making herself comfortable on the edge of his bed.

“You knew it would be difficult for me to kill the Alpha King, and that is the reason you requested his head; you never had the intention of killing the Slave Girl, did you?” Lucas questioned her.

“Well, you know what they say: good things don’t come easy. You asked me for something, and I told you the prize you were going to pay for it, and you agreed, so what is the fuss about?” she questioned.

“You know I can pay you whatever money you can afford; just name it,” he said, almost in a pleading tone.

Lucia considered him for a moment before saying,

“On second thought, I no longer need anything from you. You have only one opportunity to ask for whatever you want, and I will get it done for you,” she said, looking at her nails as if they were the most beautiful thing in the world.

“I want you to bring me that stupid omega; I will personally see to it that she is taught a lesson that she will not forget even in her next life,” Lucas Amel requested.

Lucas’s Amel request seemed to surprise Lucia a little, as she just quietly stared at him for a moment.

“Do you realize that you could have asked for anything and wasted one wish on your selfish ambition?” Lucia said to a confused-looking Lucas.

“My ambition is to make sure that my daughter is seated on the throne as the Luna Queen,” he vented.

“My ambition is to make sure that my daughter is seated on the throne as the Luna Queen,” he vented.

“Your wish will be granted; soon, I will deliver her to you to do as you please. But remember this night; that you were given the only opportunity you could have had to redeem yourself from all the atrocities you have committed, but you chose to end the life of a child who could be your daughter just because of your ego and greed,” she said, and almost in that instant, there was a knock on Lucas’s door.

He is a little confused and distorted about what to do, even though he didn’t understand why, Lucia’s words felt like pins to his rigid heart.

He made to ask her what she meant by being allowed to redeem him, but the knock on the door distorted him from doing so.

He walked towards the door and carefully opened it with the intention of not wanting the person at the door to see him speaking with Lucia.

But she encourages him to be free and that she could not be seen by anyone else other than him. And when he opens the door, he saw one of his guards standing.

“What is it?” he angrily questions his guard.

“There is someone here to see you, sir” the guard responded respectively, while bowing his head.

“Who?” he questioned, wondering why anyone would come and visit him at that late hour.

“She said I should tell you that the raven has left its nest,” the guard said, and Lucas Amel is confused as he subconsciously looks back into his room to see that Lucia is no longer in sight.

He follows the guard to the door, and he is surprised to see a young, wretched woman in her early twenties.

Even though the young woman’s face looked very familiar, he could not seem to remember where he had met her.

“Who are you and what are you doing in my house?” he questioned.

“Good evening, sir. I can see that you don’t remember me. My name is Mara, and I was Anesi’s apprentice. I know you must be expecting her, but she died on the same night after you and your daughter left our place, and that is why I am here to complete the task you asked of her,” she said to Lucas.

“What are you talking about?” He questioned, unable to comprehend the fact that Anesi was dead.

“Yes, sir, I have been going around telling her clients about her death; it was a little difficult getting your address, and that is why I am just getting here. If you don’t mind, I can help you kill the slave girl as you requested,” she said to him, and Lucas Amel was so confused as to what was happening.

If this person standing outside with him is claiming to be Anesi’s apprentice and says that Anesi is dead. Then, who the f**k is Lucia?
