Chapter 87 Tomorrow Is His Birthday
Chapter 87 Tomorrow Is His Birthday
Hearing this, Lainey's expression was a little sarcastic. She said earnestly, "Sykes, would she show
you her true colors honestly?"
"I know clearly what kind of person she is." His handsome face darkened.
"How can you be so sure? In my opinion, she must be a scheming woman. Otherwise, she wouldn't
have thought of using her child to set a trap to force your brother to marry her..."
The anger in his heart was finally completely aroused. With a "pa" sound, he threw his chopsticks on
the table and left without looking at Lainey.
He didn't like to hear a single word of her. He knew what kind of person she was, that's enough!
Lainey frowned and wondered why he was so angry.
She drew a conclusion that he must have been drugged by Harriet. Otherwise, he wouldn't have
treated her like this.
Thinking of this, she couldn't help but feel more disgusted with Harriet.
Mary happened to walk out of the bathroom and happened to see Sykes walking out of the living room
angrily. She was surprised and asked, "Lainey, what's wrong with him?"
Lainey hid her emotions and said calmly, "I said a few words to him about his study. He didn't like to
hear it. What a bad temper!"
Mary didn't suspect anything and said, "Sykes knows his own mind. Lainey, you don't have to worry
about it."
"It's a waste of time to worry about it. He can remember only one sentence after you tell him 100
sentences. By the way, tomorrow is the fourth day of the lunar month. I almost forgot it!" Lainey let out
a low cry.
"What's wrong with the fourth day?" Mary was confused, but something shining in her eyes.
"The fourth day of the lunar month is Beau's birthday. I was so busy these days that I almost forgot
about it."
Hearing this, Mary seemed to suddenly realize something. "If you didn't mention it, I almost forgot
about it. How did he spend his birthday these years?"
"You know, he never likes to socialize too much. On his birthday, all our family members would gather
together and had a meal in the hotel."
"What about this year?"
"It depends on Beau himself. We'll discuss it after he comes back."
After a while, they returned to their room. Mary took out the calendar on the bedside table. There was a
faint heart shape that was drawn by her on the fourth day of the lunar month.
It was very light which could not be seen if you didn't look carefully.
She dared not draw it clearly because she was afraid that Lainey would see. She remembered this day
and never forgot even for a minute.
It was his birthday, which was also tomorrow...
The feeling that she had suppressed in her heart became even stronger than before...
In the room.
In the small single bed, the two of them were still sleeping together.
The bed was too small for them to lie flat. They had to lie to the side, face to face.
Beau was too tall. He had to bend his knees slightly since his legs could not stretch out.
The sun had risen, shining in through the green window curtain and landing on them.
The sunlight was a little dazzling which made Harriet's eyes uncomfortable and blinked a little. Then,
she slowly opened her eyes.
The handsome face in the sunshine was right in front of her. She was a little tempted and stared at him
quietly.
After a long time, she carefully moved away his hand from her waist, got up, and walked out of the
room.
Henry Smith was reading the newspaper when he heard footsteps. He looked up and asked, "Are you
awake? Where's Beau?"
"He's still sleeping."
As she spoke, she walked into the bathroom, but she could still hear the voice coming from the living
room.
"Honey, Beau is still sleeping. You can cook the breakfast later." Henry said.
Alright, I understand. Keep your voice down. Don't wake him up. However, Sophia Scott's voice was
not low.
Hearing this, Harriet shook her head helplessly with a mouthful of toothpaste foam in her mouth.
When she walked out of the bathroom, she saw Vera Brion lying on the sofa, complaining that she was
hungry.
Seeing this, Harriet said, "Mom, let's eat first. Just keep his share."
"What are you talking about? Just wait for a while. When Beau woke up, we'll have dinner together."
Sophia said directly.
While they were talking, Beau walked out of the room. Just waking up, he was still buttoning the shirt
with his eyes half-closed. Between the gaps, his solid chest was faintly visible. He looked sexy and
charming.
Vera's eyes widened. It was so early in the morning that she had such a good benefit.
Feeling the gazes around him, he seemed to realize something. He didn't look up but quickly fastened
his shirt.
Then, he looked up with a faint smile and greeted, "Good morning, Mom and Dad."
Sophia smiled. "Morning, did you sleep well last night?"
"I felt very comfortable that I had a pleasant dream." Beau smiled lightly and said softly.
"That's good. Go wash up now, and then we'll have breakfast." Sophia was really satisfied with him.
Harriet went to prepare breakfast, which was very sumptuous including Chinese food and Western
food.
Harriet never liked to eat bread, so she took a bowl of porridge and a steamed bun.
She always felt that Western food was for the rich men only while Chinese food was for ordinary people
who were cheap but delicious.
However, it was not bad to occasionally change the taste and eat Western food.
Beau, who was sitting next to her, was also drinking porridge and fried eggs.
The five of them surrounded the dining table. The atmosphere was harmonious, relaxed, and warm.
Then, they had to leave. Sophia kept reminding them, "Come if you want to."
"Okay, thank you for your treat. I'll bring Harriet back often. I'm afraid we would bother you then"
With a chuckle, Beau reached out to hold Harriet's soft and slender waist. Harriet's body trembled
slightly, flushing her face.
Seeing this, Beau remembered last night and his eyes became blazing. He put her hair behind her ear
and said to Sophia, "She is a little shy."
Harriet gritted her teeth and glared at him. Thinking of last night, her face turned redder and she cursed
in a low voice, "Who would be as shameless as you?"
Looking at the flirting between the couple, Sophia was relieved. "You are my daughter and son-in-law,
don't worry about bothering us. Be safe on the way."
They responded softly and started the black Land Rover. Harriet hugged Sophia before getting in the
car, and left.
Lainey must have known that she hadn't returned to the House of Wright for the whole night. Harriet
sighed helplessly. There must be a lesson when she went back.
If she had stayed overnight, Lainey would have agreed.
But now, Beau didn't return together. She would definitely be very dissatisfied with it.Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g
Hearing her sigh, Beau slightly tilted his head and glanced at her. "Mrs. Wright, you don't want to go
back to the House of Wright so much?"
"No, I'm just thinking about something else."
