Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)

Chapter 3036

Chapter 3036

Luna furrowed her brows when she heard this and nodded, albeit rather displeased. "Yes, this is she."

"Your name is Gwen, right?" Tara smiled and extended her hand toward Gwen. "Nice to meet you. My

name is Tara Moore, and I'm Joshua's cousin.

"However, he and I aren't truly related by blood. I was adopted."

For some reason, Gwen could not help finding Tara's smile fake and deceiving. She did not understand

why Tara had to deliberately mention the fact that she and Joshua were not actual blood relatives.

It was as though she was not saying this as a fact but as a means of bragging.

What was there to brag about?

Gwen could not wrap her head around this, however, despite her confusion, she still smiled and shook

Tara's hand. "Pleasure to meet you, Tara. I'm Luna's friend, Gwen Larson."

"I know your name's Gwen Larson.' Tara grinned and swept her gaze over Luna's entire body. "You're

Luna's best friend, so I've heard everything about you!"

"I didn't realize I'm this famous," Gwen replied with a smile, then drew her hand back and turned to

glance at Luna.

She finally understood why Tara made it clear she and Joshua were not related by blood now.

This woman thought she was being exceptionally discreet, but the truth was, Gwen could see right

through her.

"Of course you are," Luna wrapped her arm around Gwen's shoulder, "Tara's such a huge fan of

investigating people. Even before she came to Banyan City to find Joshua, she did an extensive

background check on me to the point that she brought up Aura and Heather. So, of course, she'd do

the same to you."

With that, Luna glanced at Tara with a smile. "I'm flattered that you're so invested in my life, Tara.

You're a friendly person, but I can't help wondering if you secretly have a crush on me?"

"Unfortunately, when Christian came to visit, he never once mentioned you, and if I knew Joshua had a

cousin who loved me so much, I would've come to visit sooner."

Luna's tone was annoyingly perky when she said this. Tara did not expect this response at all, and so

her smile froze on her face. A split second later, she let out an awkward cough and turned to stare at

Joshua, who was sitting in the front passenger seat. "You must be tired from this long journey, aren't

you, Joshua?

"I've arranged for all of you to stay in the best hotel in town, and I've made a reservation for the best

restaurant here. Shall we go eat now?"

Joshua curled his lips into a smile and turned to glance at

Luna. "Are you hungry?"

Luna shrugged. "Not really. Gwen and I want to go back to the hotel to rest. Are you hungry? If you are,

you can go have lunch with Tara."

"That's splendid!" Before Luna could even finish, Tara interrupted her with a delighted chirrup. "That's

settled then. Property of Nô)(velDr(a)ma.Org.

Joshua and I shall go for lunch, and you-"

"I won't be going either." Joshua knew immediately what Luna was trying to do and could not help

smiling at this." Luna wants to be with her friend, and I want to be with Luna. We can go out for a meal

some other time."

With that, he raised his brows and glanced at Tara. "If you're hungry, you should go ahead. No need to

wait for us."
