Hera suddenly had no idea whether she could fully trust Bernard. She even suspected whether he planned their reunion.

He knew all about her motives and resentment for returning, yet he slowly lured her into a trap he had painstakingly set up. He made her fall deeper and become numb while letting her guard down against him. Her emotions were like codes, all carefully calculated by him.

With those thoughts in mind, Hera suddenly found Bernard to be rather terrifying. The more she thought about it, the more she realized that she seemed to have been tricked by his gentleness. In fact, she seemed to know nothing about him.

Seeing that Hera wasn't saying a word, Samantha said, 'Whatever, let's not talk about him anymore. Let's go shopping after lunch. Buy whatever you like since it's all on me!"

After lunch, Hera selected a somewhat normal set of white casual clothes from Samantha's feminine wardrobe and put it on. As they had similar figures, the size was just right.

Before leaving the house, she was about to call Wayne to help her feed Tiramisu when he called first.

"Something bad has happened, Hera. Your maternal grandmother is making a fuss at the clinic," Wayne said anxiously.

Hera frowned slightly. "My maternal grandmother?"

"Yes. These people are calling themselves your biological maternal grandmother and uncle. They're here at the clinic to cause trouble for Mrs. Jones and refuse to leave," Wayne explained

"Take care of Grandma. I'll go back now.' After ending the call, Hera explained to Samantha that she wasn't going shopping as she had to return to the clinic.

"Everyone, come and judge for yourselves. I'm Dr. Shadow's biological maternal grandmother, and he's her biological uncle.

"Dr. Shadow is the owner of this clinic, but the old witch inside is impersonating my biological grandchild's grandmother, taking my place. She has ordered someone to block our entry, not allowing us to go in and visit my granddaughter!"

Amanda Bennett was an old lady with partly white hair, dressed in simple country clothes. She pulled Louis Cresswell, a man in his 40s, to her side as they gestured for the passersby to gather around.

Louis was dressed more neatly than Amanda did. He had a relatively handsome face that bore a resemblance to Lilith's features.

Aside from having a slicked back hairstyle, he wore a suit and a large LV belt with an LV bag tucked under his arm. But anyone familiar with the brand knew that those products were fake.

Amanda and Louis were Lilith's mother and younger brother.

Isla noticed the increasing number of passersby gathering around, and the media was even here as well. To preserve the reputation of Youngworth Miracle Clinic and Hera, she politely invited Amanda and Louis inside for a chat.

"Also, don't go to her for treatment anymore! She's just a fraud and a quack who once caused someone's death

during treatment in the past."

Louis said, "It was Mrs. Sanderson of Jedburgh who died under her treatment. I'm sure many people know about this."

Amanda added, "Yes, yes. There were also several newborns back in our village who died under her treatment

Outside, Amanda and Louis shared more stories, making everything worse. The reporters realized that they had stumbled upon a major story and frantically took photos, with some even starting live broadcasts.
