making me uncomfortable
Letta woke up from her sleep, feeling a large hand encircling her stomach, causing her to startle. She turned around and saw Marco, who was sleeping while holding her. Letta squinted at him, questioning where the divider pillow had gone from the middle of the bed. She tried to lift his hand, but the warm breath on her neck made her uncomfortable.
“Be quiet,” Marco whispered behind Letta’s ear, making her freeze. Letta tried to free herself, but Marco pulled her closer.
“Let go, you’re making me uncomfortable,” Letta said. Marco didn’t loosen his grip, making Letta feel uneasy.
“Be quiet. Why can’t you just be quiet?” Marco said again. After that, Letta tried to pull away, but Marco stopped her.
“If you move a little more, I will really do more than this,” Marco threatened. Letta fell silent.
“You make me uncomfortable, and the baby inside is suffocating,” Letta complained, prompting Marco to loosen his embrace. Letta inquired about the missing divider pillows.
“Didn’t you move them?” Marco asked. Letta turned back. “I couldn’t have,” Letta argued. Marco opened his eyes, locking gazes with Letta. After that, Letta fell back asleep in Marco’s embrace. Marco pointed out that the pillows were now scattered underneath, causing Letta to pause for a moment before shaking her head.
“You moved them? Didn’t you see the pillows? Now they’re all scattered underneath,” Marco said, causing Letta to sit up slightly and see bolster pillows and several other pillows below. This made Letta briefly consider whether she might have moved them. However, Letta immediately shook her head.
“It must have been you,” Letta said immediately, causing Marco to sigh deeply.
“It’s up to you, but it’s clear that there’s no divider between us now. So, I have the right to sleep this close to you, right?” Marco said, prompting Letta to roll her eyes lazily. Complaining would be pointless. Eventually, Letta allowed him to do as he pleased while she tried to close her eyes again.
As usual, after waking up in the middle of the night like this, Letta would find it extremely difficult to fall back asleep. It made her feel conflicted; if she turned over, she would be face to face with Marco, who was still embracing her from behind. Letta ultimately maintained her sideward sleeping position, until they both heard Marco’s heavy voice.
“Go back to sleep, it’s still the middle of the night,” Marco said.
“I know, but because of you, I can’t fall back asleep,” Letta said, causing Marco to casually shut his eyes. However, the next moment left Letta in disbelief when Marco started misbehaving again. It made Letta turn back immediately when she felt Marco kissing her neck.
“What are you doing?” Letta asked, holding her neck.Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.
“Helping you fall back asleep,” Marco said casually, making Letta look at him with an incredulous gaze.
“You’re not helping me doze off, you’re making it even harder for me to sleep,” Letta said. Of course, she would always be wary of any actions Marco might take. He might do more than this when she’s asleep.
“Close your eyes and try to sleep. Are your thoughts currently filled with dirty scenes?” Marco said, prompting Letta to sigh with annoyance.
“Of course not,” Letta replied, although it was the complete opposite of what was in her mind. The man currently sharing the bed with her was undoubtedly to blame for that.
“Well then, just close your eyes,” Marco said, once again coaxing Letta to reluctantly comply, attempting to shut her eyes again. However, once again Marco did the same thing, causing Letta to consider protesting, but Marco immediately interrupted her.
“No need to imagine anything, because I’ll help you fall asleep quickly,” Marco said again, causing Letta to eventually do what he wanted rather than engage in an argument. Letta closed her eyes, accepting whatever Marco was doing.
“You’re making it even harder for me to sleep,” Letta said again, sounding like a grumble, but Marco seemed to ignore it without responding. Letta tried to keep her eyes closed, but whether it was true or not, Letta slowly began to feel drowsy, even feeling her consciousness slip away.
Until she finally drifted off completely. Marco could hear Letta’s steady breathing, causing him to sit up slightly. Then he pursed his lips, realizing that Letta had fallen back asleep. It made Marco settle back down, inhaling Letta’s scent deeply.
For some reason, it made him even more comfortable to stay close to Letta, although previously Arabella’s scent had been his favorite. But now, for some reason, Marco felt that Letta was more dominant. Though Marco thought it might be because this was something new for him. Eventually, he tried to close his eyes, emulating what Letta had done, and unknowingly, with just the scent of Letta, he quickly fell asleep.
Marco finally fell asleep alongside her, without any more arguments. Letta, comfortably nestled in Marco’s warm embrace, fell even deeper into slumber, just as Marco found himself captivated by Letta’s sweet scent, feeling his eyes grow heavy.
Until they both failed to notice the dawn beginning to break from the eastern horizon, seeping through the cracks of Letta’s apartment window. However, they were still cuddled in the same bed, their positions having shifted throughout the night. Letta, content with the embrace from Marco, now found herself unconsciously facing him, making her sleep even more sound. Letta even moved closer, ignoring the loud alarm ringing from the nightstand.
