Third Person’s POV

After the dance, Demian immediately invited Ashleigh to come with him to introduce her to his parents and to the king and queen of Lunaria. At first, Ashleigh was still skeptical that she might not be liked by the prince’s family. But when the prince smiled at her, so she could do nothing but give in and just follow it.

As they approached, his parents immediately stared at her. especially the king and queen of Lunaria. As soon as she approached, Ashleigh immediately paid tribute to the royalties by greeting them and curtsying in front of them.

They just stared at her silently as did the king and queen of Lunaria. In her mind, she seemed just embarrassed by what she did. she remained silent as she looked down. Demian seemed to notice this so he immediately broke the silence.

“I am very glad that you have attended this celebration, Queen Felicia and King Ashton.” smiling Demian said to them.

“We are happy that you have returned Demian. It looks like you are ready to go back to school at Magica Academy.” King Ashton said cheerfully.

“Thank you, Your majesty.” Respectfully for Demian’s answer here. “By the way, this is Ashleigh. The new student at Magica Academy. Ashleigh, this the king and queen of Lunaria and Princess Diasspro’s parents… and this is Duke Andreas and his wife Duchess Matilda, Lady Stheno’s parents.” Demian introduced them to each other.

Ashleigh swallowed first before paying tribute to them again.

“P-Pleased to meet you, Your Majesty and Your Graces, My name is Ashleigh Jaime Nevrakis.” Ashleigh’s nervous introduction to them.

“We have heard a lot of good stories from our daughter Stheno about you, Dear.” Duchess Matilda said happily to her. “But, I’m curious… Where you came from dear?” asked the Duchess to her.

“I’m… I’m from Earth, Your Grace.” Ashleigh replied nervously.

Demian’s parents thought especially of the king and queen of Lunaria. It has also been a long time since they last heard that there is still magus left in the Earth world. Demian’s father King Nereus’ face became serious and he thought that maybe this girl was the last magus from Earth.

“What kind of attuned are you? We just wanted to know, if you could tell us.” Duchess Matilda’s husband Duke Andreas calmly asked.

Ashleigh swallowed again before she could speak.

“I’m S-Sun & Metal attuned… Y-Your Grace.” Ashleigh answered him a little shyly.

“You and Stheno are the same, she is also a Sun attuned. Isn’t that right sweetie?” Duchess Matilda said excitedly to her daughter.

“Yes, Mother.” Stheno smiled but said seriously.

Ashleigh just smiled at them and accidentally turned her gaze to queen Felicia.

She just silently stared at her as well as her husband and daughter Diasspro.

She wondered where she had seen them, and why the couple was so familiar to her. She sighed and turned to Demian who had been quiet and holding her hand.

Demian also turned to her and smiled. The young man was about to whisper something when suddenly something exploded outside Fleland’s palace.

“What is that?” Queen Felicia asked nervously as she hugged her husband.

“There are trespassers! All of you calm down and go up to the second floor! We’ll take care of whatever it is!” Calux shouted and immediately jumped down from the top floor.

The guests immediately climbed to the second floor. Demain suddenly released Ashleigh and the young man stared at her seriously.

“Just stay here, we’ll take care of the trespassers outside.” he said to her and suddenly a sword was drawn to his waist before jumping down to the first floor. “Men’s! You all follow us!” Demian commands their soldiers.

“Ashleigh! Stay with them okay?!” Demian shouted again then ran out.

Calux turned to her first before going out and following his brother.

“What was that?” asked a female visitor.

“There seems to be some trespassers outside.” a man answered.

Ashleigh grabbed her arm and sat down on a sofa near the stairs. Her friend Stheno also sat next to her.

“Are you afraid?” Stheno asked worriedly.

She sighed and nodded quietly. Stheno suddenly hugged him.

“Don’t worry… everything will be fine soon.” Stheno whispered to her as he hugged her.

She just smiled at her friend and hugged her as well.

Queen Felicia just silently stared at her niece and her friend who had just introduced them.

Calux’s POV

As we ran outside we were exposed to huge smoke from the explosion.

“Ahem! Ahem! Crap!” my annoyed brother said while coughing because of the smoke.

“Who’s there!” Fred said almost aloud.

We immediately prepared our weapons and just waited for the smoke to disappear to see who was behind this smoke.

When the smoke disappeared, it spat out 3 men wearing black hoodies.

“Who are you?!” the older brother shouted while holding his sword tightly.

The three men walked toward us and when they were in front of us they immediately stopped.

“Hello, Demian.” laughed the man in the middle.

“Who are you?!” I asked as my ears almost smoked with anger.

“Easy… Little copycat. We’re just here to congratulate your brother on his return to Magica.” the man on the right answered.

“Lucas?!” my twin said in shock.

“Surprise, old friend.” said the man on the right again and suddenly laughed.

“Do you know who are they, brother?” astonished I asked him.

“Not all three of them, but only him.” my older brother replied while pointing at the man on the right.

The man my brother pointed out still did not stop laughing. He was obviously teasing my brother who had earlier been staring at the man on the right while holding his sword tightly.

“Lucas. What are you doing here? And who are those with you?” my older brother asked in astonishment.

“Care to explain who the freak is him?” I almost shouted at my older brother.

“He’s my mentor.” my older brother replied while staring sharply at the man he was referring to. “I will repeat my question, Lucas. Who are those with you?” my older brother obviously asked a question to the man on the right.

“Easy my former apprentice.” said the man and held my older brother by the shoulder.

“Don’t even touch me!” no emotion that my older brother whispered and glared at him.

The man called by my older brother Lucas laughed again and he used strong magic to push my older brother and penetrate against the wall causing him to break the wall of the palace.

“ARRGH!” my older brother growled in pain.

“DEMIAN!” I shouted and ran towards him to help him get up.

“DEMIAN! CALUX!” loudly calling from our mother’s shout while upstairs in our palace.

“Brother… are you okay?” worried I said and helped him get up but he pushed me and slowly got up.

“D-Don’t help me. I-I can handle myself.” whispering weakly but emphatically he said.

When my older brother stood up, he immediately looked down, and there the rocks around us started to burn except inside the palace because he was controlling it so as not to touch what was inside.

“Is that all you can do? Lucas?” my older brother said and suddenly floated in the air as he was surrounded by his fire.

The older brother is a Fire / Lava Attuned. he can put out fire or magma even if there is no nearby volcano around him.

“Why? You think you can match for me Ceruse?” smiling Luke said.

“Yes… I can. Mentor.” said the older brother and let the magma fly closer to Lucas.

The man could hardly believe what he saw.

“H-How did?”

“Thanks for what you taught me… I used what I learned from you. That’s not all I can do… and you know that… Right Lucas?” the older brother said without emotion and when he raised his head, the man has been cornered with lots of fire.

“Lucas!” shouted the man on the left earlier.

“Get out of here right now. Before I can finally release my true strength.” said the older brother.

The fire surrounding the man immediately disappeared and he smirked.

“Remember Ceruse. This is not the last time you will see me.” said Lucas and suddenly disappeared like a bubble with his companions earlier.

When the three men left, we immediately went inside. Our soldiers also repaired the broken walls of our palace. Our parents immediately ran towards us. So are Diasspro and the others.

“Are you two okay?” worried mom asked.

“I’m fine. But Demian-”

“I’m fine too, mother.” my brother answered immediately.

Demian immediately hugged Ashleigh when he saw her.

I just stared at them as the two of them hugged.

“Are you really okay?” Ashleigh’s concern for my twin was obvious.

“Sure, don’t worry. Milady.” said Demian and smiled at her

I do not know why I am annoyed to see the two of them close to each other.

In just a few minutes, Ashleigh suddenly grabbed her own chest and writhed in pain.

“A-Ahhgh… Ahhhh!”

My older brother immediately grabbed Ashleigh tightly and lifted her.

“Ashleigh? Are you okay?” Stheno asked worriedly and so did my older brother.

Our parents immediately approached them and also asked how Ashleigh was feeling. where it hurts but she suddenly fainted maybe because of the pain she was feeling.

Someone’s POV

“We’ve finally found what we’ve been looking for.” smirking I said as I watched the twins’ friends and parents worried about the woman Prince Demian was carrying.

“What did you put in her drink? My big sister?” curiosity was obvious in my sister’s question.

“A simple magic that stops her heartbeat. If it does not solve it, she might die.” I said while smirking and drinking red wine.

I just smiled especially and let them mess with what was happening.

“His power will soon be ours. That we will take to our masters.”

“Ohh I can’t wait to take over the whole magica dimension.”

“Come on. Let’s get going. The show is over.”

“Yes, sister.”
