Chapter 179
Chapter 179
"Meredith, I just asked you to eat. No need to wear a hair shirt."
Derek's voice was filled with a chill that made Meredith cold from head to toe.
Heh, a hair shirt? What kind of woman was her in his mind?
He thought she was faking everything? Now her feeling uncomfortable was also a lie just to gain his
sympathy?
Never had she felt so resentful toward the man who seemed to be watching over her or looking at her
indifferently than this moment.
"Derek, do you think everything I do was to plot against you?"
Meredith tried her best to swallow the food in her mouth. She covered her churning stomach and
looked over at Derek.
At the corner of her eyes were a few tears that she shed out of discomfort. She looked extremely pitiful.
Derek's heart softened for a moment, but when he thought about what she and Parker had done, he
only snorted coldly. "Isn't that right?"
The little unrealistic hope in Meredith's heart completely disappeared now. Perhaps this was what
Derek really thought of her. What did she expect?
After a few more bites, Meredith called for someone to take the food away, ignoring Derek from
beginning to end.
"Do you plan to watch me sleep?" Seeing that Derek had no intention of leaving, Meredith asked coldly.
Derek was immediately pissed off. "You want me to leave so badly?"
Meredith was amused. So he wanted her to ask him to stay so that he could force her to do something
she didn't want to do?
"This is your territory. Whatever you want to do, do as you please. But I'm worried that it will cause
misunderstanding. Hehe."
If Chloe knew Derek stayed here at night, she might go crazy. Meredith didn't want to provoke that kind
of person at all.
However, when Derek heard those words, he thought she was worried that Parker would
misunderstand. He walked over a few steps, grabbed Meredith by the neck, and pressed her onto the
bed. "You are so eager to protect yourself from sleeping me for that man, huh? He is so useless that he
can't even protect a woman. And you're so fascinated with such a man?"
The thought of Meredith doing all this for Parker made Derek want to tear her apart to vent his anger.
Meredith sneered. Was he deliberately misinterpreting her words?
It was OK for him to go to Chloe and make out with her. But when she and Parker met once, Derek
thought the father of the child was Parker. He had pushed too far.
"If you like to think that way, it's up to you."
Meredith looked stubbornly at Derek. He never believed in her anyway, so there was no need to
explain. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.
"Well, I can't wait to see how deep your relationship is."
Derek was completely angered by Meredith. He forced himself on her as if he had lost his mind. Then
he ripped her clothes off cruelly.
Meredith tried to push him away, but she could not exert any force with her injured hand at all. She
could only wriggle, trying to escape.
However, her action didn't work at all but stimulated the man on her.
"Why, do you look so reluctant under Parker? And he hasn't got tired of having sex with you?"
The humiliating words made Meredith blush.
"Get away from me. Get away!"
From the beginning until now, he was the only man she had has sex with. He had taken her virginity
and everything from her but what he chose to do was to trample on her dignity again and again.
Tears fell from her eyes.
Derek looked at her and was upset. She resisted him so much, but she was not like that when she was
with Parker.
Thinking of that, Derek could not soften his heart at all. He directly penetrated her, and Meredith cried
out in pain. He was so fast and she was not prepared at all. At this moment, she was so painful that her
eyes went black.
However, she was in such a fit of pique that she refused to make a sound which now was a hint of
begging for mercy. Derek looked at her stubbornness and the rage in his heart grew much strong. He
ignored she was in poor health and desperately vented his anger on her.
It was not known how long before the torture stopped. Meredith had fainted in the end, and the
bandages had all fallen out of her bandaged hands as she struggled subconsciously.
Derek looked at Meredith's pale little face and did not want to stay any longer. He said to the maid who
was guarding the door, "Go wash her up and ask the doctor to bandage her hand up again."
After that, Derek left without looking back.
He no longer wanted to see Meredith resist him.
...
In a daze, Meredith felt someone come in. She immediately remembered that her clothes were all in a
mess. She wanted to wake up, but she could not no matter how hard she tried.
The maid changed her clothes. Looking at the shocking bruises on Meredith's fair skin, she could not
help but gasp.
She didn't know that the young master was such a rough person. How could he be so cruel to Miss
Mason?
However, this was the master's business, and she had no right to meddle in, so she could only carefully
lighten her movements, wipe Meredith's body, and change her into a set of clean pajamas.
Meredith finally felt more conscious and gave a little cough. Seeing a girl in front of her, she felt
ashamed yet relieved.
She was such a mess now and someone had seen it. But fortunately, Derek was not so distraught as to
let a man in and take a look at her body.
"Has he left?"
Meredith asked in a daze. Seeing the maid nodding, she fell asleep again as if she was falling into a
coma.
...
Derek drove away from the villa, but suddenly had no idea of where to go.
When he was off work, he would go to Meredith's small house if he wanted to. Although it was very
narrow and the decoration was very ordinary, it made him feel at ease. He hadn't felt at ease for a long
time.
If...
If the baby in Meredith's belly was his, he wouldn't have let her feel aggrieved a little.
Derek was gradually lost in thought. At last, instead of returning to the Xaviers, he went straight to the
company.
Since he couldn't get what he wanted emotionally, he might as well numb himself at work.
...
The next day, Damian went to work early, but as soon as he went up to the top floor, he saw the
president's office in a mess.
Documents were scattered on the table and ground. The office looked as messy as if it had just been
stolen. He was startled and walked over to see that it was Derek inside.
The man's usually clean face was covered with a few stubbles, which did not make him unkempt but
added a bit of decadent temperament. Actually, he looked particularly attractive now.
"Boss, you didn't come home last night?"
Damian asked cautiously, feeling that something was wrong.
He always felt something was wrong with Derek now, which made him feel uneasy.
