Chloe pushed back her seat in anger, she has had enough of whatever sh*t that was going on in this weird house..

He picked up his phone, pushed back his chair and walked out hurriedly..

She faced her husband who didn’t seem to be a bit bothered by what just happened when it was his fault entirely..

“It’s been months since Bryan came here and you just had to ruin things today for him.. stop trying to force things down on him, he’s not ready yet!” Cynthia fired.

Charles swept his gaze over her “Didn’t you see how disrespectful he was to me?! you choose to support every of his wrongdoings but I’m fed up of it already”

Another screech on the floor was heard and Diane stood up and left the dining room without a second glance back..

“You’re such a father.. enjoy your meal alone and make sure you don’t choke!”

Bryan caught Chloe’s arm before she could leave the main gate of the house..

“Stop!”

Chloe retracted her arm from his hold, her breath was heavy and uneven..

“Why? do you want to give me a big time lecture on how to be nice to my elders? didn’t you see how he spoke to me in there?”

Bryan held her arm once more when she tried to leave again, he took in a deep breath and peered down at her face that was turning red due to anger..

“I know how my dad and sister are like.. so I’m not going to reprimand you or anything, but you can’t just leave like that.. we had a deal”

Chloe raised a brow with a loud scoff, what deal? if this was what she would face in the future then she’ll gladly walk away now and never return..

Arya stepped out of the car and watched it leave till it vanished completely from her sight, was it her head or was Kyle behaving strangely just now?

She frowned in disgust, he looked so worn out and unkempt, dark circles settled under his eye bag while his beards looked too.. arrghhh

Arya pulled her gaze away from him and was about to go into her restaurant when she heard him speak..

“I’d like to talk to you Arya.. it’s very urgent”

Arya ignored his words and stepped into the restaurant closing the double doors made of glass behind her..

As soon as Sam saw her approaching, he walked towards her with a wide grin on his lips..

“Ma’am.. you’re here today”

Arya returned back his smile but immediately she saw who just stepped in her smile vanished, she turned to Sam “I thought You’re off duty today?”

Sam massaged the nape of his neck nervously, he sent her a weird smile and Arya instantly knew what happened..

She touched her forehead with a sigh,”Chloe asked you to cover up for her didn’t she?”

Sam gave a small nod, he bowed slightly once she dismissed him..

“Chloe.. you’re driving me insane, just when I needed to talk to you” Arya murmured to herself and took a seat on an empty spot..

Almost immediately, the opposite chair was taken by Cole..

She met his gaze and fired at him before he could even speak..

“What do you want?!”

Cole looked around to be ensured that no one heard her scream, he was glad that no one was looking towards their direction..

“Arya.. please give me a chance to speak”

“You have five minutes, your time starts now”..

Cole forced a smile at her, he wondered how to strike up a conversation with her without him sounding too weird about it..

“I’m leaving the country next week Arya”

Arya relaxed back on her seat, she arched a brow with a bored expression on her face..

“So?”

Cole cleared his throat “I want to make a request, please talk to Mr Anderson and tell him not to put pressure on my family anymore.. we are already bankrupt and don’t own a penny anymore..”

Arya chuckled, so Kyle really dealt with Cole and his family? even till now?

However she composed herself and looked him in the eye..”I don’t want to ruin my marriage by doing that.. you started all these so bear it!”

“Marriage? you and I know that you’re only married to him because of his son.. I was as well thinking that you might want to come along with me”

“And what makes you think that I’ll be willing to go with you?”

Arya snorted in disdain, she hated where this conversation was heading to and she couldn’t bear it anymore..

“I think we are done here” Arya concluded picking up her purse in a hurry..

Cole bowed his head in shame “I’m no longer with Vivian”
