Tame Me My Brother -in-Law

Chapter 74

voice was coming from, and there we saw Sebastian standing in the doorway with his arms crossed.

I swallowed when there was only a towel wrapped around his waist, so his perfect figure was completely visible. His hair was still damp, and a drop of water ran down the side of his beautiful eyes before falling down his collarbone.

It was a test devised by the devil himself. This version of him, without his typical indifference and alienation, left me with a suffocating and soul-penetrating feeling. There was a trace of kindness there for some unexplained reason.

“Seb…,” Cynthia whimpered as she gradually released her hold on the straps of my nightgown, which she had been holding for some time.

What?

When I lowered my head, I was startled and brought back to reality when I saw that my nightgown had been ruined, exposing both of my

breasts.

I grimaced and was shocked as I came to my senses. “Sh it…!!!” | squeaked as I pulled the blanket over and covered myself, wrapping tightly around me. Then I curled up like a shrimp and buried my face in the pillow to hide the embarrassment I was feeling.

GOOD EYE

CELINE’s POV

“What’s the matter here?” Jake’s voice rang out not too far away, and soon after, the sound of his approaching footsteps could be heard.

“Move along… nothing to see here! Get some sleep!” I overheard Sebastian say something, and then being followed by the door slammed shut.

When I finally looked up, I saw that Cynthia had gotten off the floor and was heading toward the door to lock it.

“Hey you! Get the hell out of here!” She’s not finished yet, but she frowned when she saw that the color was changing on my face and it was becoming more

. “What is that look that you have on your

face?”

“Does everyone in your family always come into your room doing it in this specific manner?” I inquired, rather than providing an answer to her question.

“Hey! Hold it right there!” she said. “My brother has never entered my room since I was twelve years old. That reminds me, he should never enter my room just now. At most, he came in after knocking and calling out my name a couple of times. But… in all these years, he has never before appeared dressed in nothing but a bath towel and in such a rush!”

After a brief pause, Cynthia gazed in my direction while maintaining her frown.

“Don’t let yourself get any bright ideas!” I moaned while giving a stern look in her direction.

“You’re having an affair with my brother!” her eyebrows were pulled together very tightly.

“That’s not even funny, Cynthia!” I rolled my eyes at her. “There is no way that could ever happen…”

“Are you sure?”

“Very sure!” I said as I pulled the blanket over my head, hiding my reddened face. “Sleepy time! Goodnight!”

When I felt her lay down next to me and pulled the blanket over her, I couldn’t help but smile as I finally closed my eyes and fell into deep

slumber.

It was well after five in the morning and bitterly cold outside when I opened my eyes again.

I

Over the course of all of these years… I had gotten used to getting early every morning because I had to make some soup and get mother’s medicine ready for her.

But right then and there, my mom was no longer around…

The moment I opened my eyes at this hour of the morning, I was always greeted by an excruciating pang of loneliness each and every day.

As I slowly stood up in the room… the cozy light that was next to the bed was already on. Next to me… the spoiled brat girl was soundly dozing off with the bear still cradled in her arms. She was less arrogant like that and looked more pleasing to the eye. I wish she was always sleeping.

I laughed silently as I got out of bed and quietly looked through her closet for something to wear before going out of her room. I chose

denim pants and a gray sweater and hurriedly put them on after stripping off the ruined nightgown. I was glad I have the same built of body as Cynthia’s.

There was a wall lamp outside the door, so the corridor wasn’t that dark to walk in. As I went downstairs… my hand, gliding along the

handrail.

When I first got up… my intention was to get some water to drink, but when I heard the sounds of commotion and various people venting their frustrations in the kitchen, I made my way over there instead.

There were two dashing gentlemen standing in the kitchen, and the table was covered in a mountain of clutter.

“I tried to warn you, I just can’t pull this off, dad!” Sebastian’s voice was laden with gripes as I looked at him from hiding behind the wall. All you have to do is wake up Mr. Lee so that he can prepare some food for you. What gives you reason to believe that I can pull this off?”

“He was working all day yesterday…” Mr. Anderson stated. “Do think that he isn’t exhausted? Why are you making such a big deal of the fact that I’ve asked you to make me breakfast?”

“No, Dad… it’s not!” he responded in retort. “With all due respect… can you please take a look at the time? It is far too early for you to start feeling hungry!”

“I don’t care what time it is! I just wanted you to get up and make me breakfast as soon as possible!” Mr. Anderson exclaimed in a

lighthearted manner.

While I was watching them, I couldn’t help but cra ck a grin. They were arguing in a manner that was entertainingly similar to that of two friends. I had no idea that the icy and heartless Sebastian Anderson possessed such a soft spot in his heart. And his father was different from other wealthy people in many ways. It was easy to talk to him

and get in touch with.

“How much water should I put in?” Sebastian asked, holding a pitcher

of water.

“I can’t say for sure….” his father said, grazing his finger over his beard. “Why are you even asking me that?”

“Dad!”

“What gives you the right to think that I know?”

Sebastian shook his head helplessly at his dad’s answer, scratching his nape in frustration.

“Can you help me search on the internet?” the son asked with a smile

on his face now.

“No, need. I know you can do it without watching it on the internet…” his dad said, waving his hand. But Sebastian didn’t move. “Oh, come on! I’m dying of hunger here…”

After saying that, Mr. Anderson sna tched the pitcher out of Sebatian’s grasp and poured the water into the flour while Seb looked at it in confusion. Within a split second, the flour devolved into a gooey and

unsightly slop.

“What did you just do?” he exclaimed while looking at his father with

a frown.

“I’m trying to help here! You said you didn’t know what to do, right?”

“Dad!” He pouted like a little boy, and I found him so adorable that I wanted to give his cheek a little pinch. “How on earth am I going to knead the dough in all its damaged glory now?”

“Well, add more flour then…” the old man said, and I wanted to burst out laughing when he grabbed a large bowl of flour and dumped it into the other bowl with all of his magnanimity. This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.

Sebastian did nothing but stare at the pathetic imitation of dough and lapsed into silence.

I felt the need to step in and help.

“Good morning…” I was terrified that they wouldn’t finish making breakfast, and that Mr. Anderson would end up starving to death as a

result.

“Oh, hi there, Celine… Why are you up so early?” The old man inquired while maintaining a jovial expression on his face.

The scene that was playing out right in front of me made me unable to contain my laughter.

Both of their faces were dusted with flour at that point, and Seb’s black shirt was completely covered with the white powder.

“What exactly are you guys up to?” I pretended not to notice Seb’s miserable expression as I approached them.

“I didn’t eat very much yesterday, you know…” the father smiled sheepishly as he continued. “I have never been so hungry right now…

“Why didn’t you just have the head chef make it for you?” I inquired, glancing over at the chaotic table.

“Everyone is completely spent. I can’t go around disturbing him while he sleeps…” oh, what a kind master he is to his ser vants. “But look, all I wanted for this man is to make me bread, and oh boy, what a

mess that has turned out to be!”

Mr. Anderson appeared to be in a hopeless state as he shook his head and gave the impression that his son was of no use to him.

However… I was well aware that he was merely making fun of him.

In addition, I was taken aback when I heard his statement. I had the impression that people who came from wealthy families wouldn’t risk
