Chapter 67
Nelson arrived at Breeze Group, but Eva blocked him at the entrance.
"Ms. Wyatt is in a meeting and is unavailable to meet with visitors."
"I'll wait for her," Nelson replied.
He took a seat on a couch in the reception area.
With a brown turtleneck sweater and black suit pants, he sat, exuding an air of leisure.
Eva had to admit that he was good-looking. Regardless of appearance or physique, Nelson was a perfect match with Sabrina.
Although Sabrina had kept Nelson waiting for an hour, he showed no sign of impatience.
This surprised Dylan. As the center of attention wherever he went, Nelson had gotten used to being catered to. Dylan wondered when Nelson had ever shown such patience.
Lilith spotted Nelson while returning from outside. She approached him with enthusiasm.
"Mr. Tucker, are you here to pick Pamela up from work?"
Nelson glanced up and answered, "No."
His indifferent look sent a chill down Lilith's spine. She dared not ask further and left quickly.
Pamela wasn't in a good state, so the shooting results were unsatisfactory.
During a make-up touch-up, Lilith mentioned seeing Nelson.
They figured that if he wasn't there to pick Pamela up, he must be there for Sabrina.
Upon hearing this, Pamela's mood worsened.
"What should we do?" Lilith asked.
After pondering for a while, Pamela whispered something to Lilith.
"Got it," Lilith replied.
Upon exiting the conference room, Sabrina heard many employees discussing the affection between Nelson and Pamela.
"They've known each other for six years and have been dating for five. It's so enviable that Mr. Tucker personally came to pick up Ms. Dixon."
"The receptionist said Mr. Tucker has been waiting for an hour."
"It's not like that…"
Sabrina entered her office and put down her documents.
"Alright. Let's call it a day."
"About Mr. Tucker…"
"I'll handle it," Sabrina said. She took her handbag and headed downstairs.
Many employees in the company liked Pamela. A lot of them gathered around her to ask for pictures and autographs. Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.
The entire lobby was bustling with noise.
Pamela leaned against Nelson's chest while looking blissfully happy.
In contrast, Nelson didn't seem pleased. Sabrina assumed he was probably annoyed by the disturbance.
Sabrina watched quietly, thinking about how her husband didn't even try to avoid suspicion in her company.
Nelson scanned through the crowd and spotted Sabrina. He was about to approach her when Pamela hugged his waist to stop him.
Sabrina tore her gaze away and headed toward the door.
Abigail was holding a large bouquet of flowers. She waved vigorously at Sabrina as she walked toward her.
"Sweetheart, these flowers are for you."
She shoved the large bouquet of Sweetheart Roses into Sabrina's arms.
Sabrina chuckled softly and asked, "Why are you giving me flowers, specifically this kind?"
Abigail blinked her eyes and responded, "To cheer up my sweetheart, unlike the son of a bitch who only knows how to make things worse."
She deliberately spoke in volumes to ensure Nelson could hear her.
Unable to leave, Nelson could only watch Sabrina leave with Abigail.
After getting into Sabrina's car, Abigail said, "Sweetheart, let me take you on a vacation."
"A vacation? Why? My company will be very busy toward the end of the year."
"It's just three or four days. The company won't collapse. Let's have some fun, shall we?"
Abigail batted her eyelashes and leaned on Sabrina's shoulder.
"Please. I just want to go on a vacation with you."
"Where to?"
"Let's go to Dewhurst and have some fun."
"Is this Gerald's idea?" Sabrina asked.
Abigail frowned.
"You're no fun."
"Why are you speaking on his behalf and delivering flowers for him?"
Sabrina disapproved. She and Gerald had agreed not to see each other, so she was confused by his actions.
"Abby, I'm not divorced yet."
"I know. He isn't going. He just thought you seemed unhappy and wanted me to take you out to have some fun."
Sabrina sighed.
"Is he… alright?"
Abigail shook her head.
"I don't know. He contacted me this afternoon, asked me to hand you this bouquet, and gave me two plane tickets to Dewhurst for tomorrow."
