Cora walked into the house unsettled, what if Kate finds Adia, Adia is not safe with her right now, Kate will easily locate her.

Adia has been living with her for three days now, it’ll be too sudden to send her away, she has no reasonable excuse to give.

She’ll have to inform Sebastian about it right now.

“Hey Cora” Adia alighted from the stairs waving at her.

“Hey what’s up” Cora absent mindedly replied.

“The groceries, where are they?” Adia queried since Cora earlier said she’s off to get groceries.

“You left to get groceries, remember” Adia reminded Cora as realization hit her.

“Yea, that’s true, I forgot my card, I’ll go grab it now” Cora added rushing upstairs.

She dialed Evans number immediately she got into her room.

“Hey babe, I guess you’ve already considered my idea” Evans’ annoying voice peered from the phone.

“You wish” Cora scoffed.

“Then why are calling, if not that”

“Well I will never intend to call, if not that your daling sister is creating a ruffle here” cora spat angrily.

“First of all, she’s not my darling sis, never make that mistake ever again” Evans warned, though he was Kate’s brother, he had an immeasurable hatred for her.

The saying blood is thicker than water doesn’t apply to his family in this Case, they were just a bunch of uncooperative families, who didn’t care about each other.

“Well, she already knows about Adia, and is searching for her, she can come knocking at my door anytime” cora yelled angrily while Evans held a stoic face.

“And how was she able to find out?” Another person asked and Cora knew at once that it was Sebastian.

“Well if not for the fact that you cannot keep your mouth shut and want to make her jealous, probably she would never have found out” Cora uttered in sarcasm.

“Watch your mouth woman,” Sebastian warned, sending chills down her spine.

“Luckily she ain’t aware of the pregnancy” Cora finally broke the good news, if Kate ever gets to find out about the baby, Adia is surely gonna be in great danger, not only that Kate would try and kill the baby, but lots of people will come for the child.

In Britaris, there were two different categories of vampires, that’s the twilight or pure blooded vampires and the half vampires, the ones who were created.

All pure vampires came from seven different lineage or families, that’s what Britaris was divided into seven province, each family leading theirs.

Pure blooded vampires were the only vampires that can turn other vampires and they can feed on both human blood, animal blood and also vampire blood, making them incredibly strong.

While all half vampires came from her pure blooded lineage, just like her father and her family came from the Montenero’s.

Half vampires cannot feed on a vampire else they die and they are faithful to their Makers.

But some vampires were never cool headed and became the rogue vampires, the ones that act without brains and hunt other vampires.

Sebastian and his brothers came from one of the province of Britaris, Sebastian is very lucky he has Ace and Arion on his side but his other brother Logan who’s actually his half brother that was born of another woman, wants to rule the hunters province of Britaris, so if he ever finds out Adia is pregnant, he will not hesitate to kill her, cause Sebastian baby’s a threat.

If Sebastian gives birth to a child before him, no doubt he will have the throne to one of the provinces, since it’s hard for a vampire to sire a child, the elders won’t think twice to make Sebastian the leader since he already has an heir.

But Kate will want to kill the baby for a whole different reason and that’s for Sebastian’s love, cause she’s gonna see Adia and the baby as an obstacle.

“Well that’s good news, protect Adia, I’ll come over tomorrow, I’ll be taking her home” Sebastian said, Adia will be a lot safer with him.

He could have killed Kate a long time ago, but Kate’s not just any vampire, she’s pure blood, and the daughter of one of the leaders from the province of Britaris.

So killing will be a problem because he’ll only be waging war between the two provinces.

Even if Evans is on their side, he still can’t kill her, besides their mother is still alive and Kate still has her protection.

“Copy that” cora responded, but the problem now is that it’s not up to a week and she has no reasonable excuse to give when Sebastian comes tomorrow, well that will be his problem, not hers.

As long as Adia Is safe, fine with her.

“And also, I’ll need you to get me her papers, I’ll have Rowan process something” Sebastian added, he’s gonna make a fake certificate for Adia, indicating she’s out of town, he’s fully aware that Kate will go to great lengths to find her.

“I’ll do just that”

“That will be all” Sebastian chimed in giving the phone back to Evans.

“So babe, we’ll meet at your house tomorrow, do you mind for a quickie?” Evans’ lips curved up as he awaited for an answer.

“Never” came Cora’s curt reply hoping to get a grip of herself as he was already suffocating her, just by talking through the phone.

“We will see about that”

“In your dreams” Cora spat but immediately after the call was disconnected.

“Fool” she cursed loudly, grunting as she rolled on the bed.

“I hate you…haaa” she screamed loudly throwing her legs up in the air.

“Everything alright there?” Adia asked from outside.

“Yea, I am good” Cora replied, rushing into the bathroom to shower.
