themselves from their parents, isn't it? I know that you and Mia will surely spread your wings and fly

high, which makes me happy, but the thought of you both being far away from me also makes me sad.

However, even though I might feel sad, I still hope that you and Mia can continue to grow up in the way

you like. You might fly far away, but I will always be here waiting for you to come home."

Aiden remained silent.

He opened his arms and hugged Athena, burying his head in her embrace.

"I don't want to be apart from you," he mumbled.

"Sweetheart, it's still early," Athena comforted with a smile. "Don't be sad in advance."

Athena stayed in Aiden's room for a while, waiting until he fell asleep before quietly leaving.

She glanced at Mia's room. The lights were already dim, indicating that Mia was asleep.

Athena stretched her limbs and headed toward the main bedroom.

"Why are you still looking at these?" Athena entered the room and saw Byron still examining

documents related to Imbe Group's key projects. "It's late. We should rest."

Byron took off his glasses and looked at Athena.

She quickly came to him, gently caressing his chin.

"Aiden and Mia are both asleep?" Byron rubbed his cheek against Athena's palm and asked softly.

"Yes," Athena replied. Then she told Byron about Aiden's sudden worries.

"Are Ottilie and Herbert both in Mia's room?" Byron asked.

"Yes." Athena nodded.

Byron chuckled bitterly. "They seem to be very wary about me now."

"They'll get over it in a couple of days," Athena reassured him.

Byron looked at Athena and softly responded.

The next morning, Elijah and Sally came to Athena's house before heading to the church.

Mia was still in quite a disheveled state.

Athena carried her and let Elijah examine her arm to make sure she was okay.

After confirming that Mia was fine, Sally and Athena went to the postpartum rehabilitation center

together.

After having breakfast with Evie, the couple finally set off.

Evie leaned against the window and watched the car leave the parking lot, muttering, "I hope they can

convince Adonis this time."

Athena was holding Pixie.

The little girl seemed to be getting chubbier and cuter every day.

Her eyes were becoming even more beautiful.

"Pixie inherited her daddy's little curls," Athena gently touched Pixie's nose with hers.

Pixie immediately responded with a cute smile.

"She's smiling! Pixie is smiling!" Athena hurriedly told Evie.

Evie, with her hands behind her back, walked over.

Pixie seemed to understand and giggled even more.

"What? How could you go against your words?" Athena squinted at Evie. "No way."
