Chapter 572 Trying Hard to Hide

Colin sent the message, but Maxwell didn't reply until the night.

"Tomorrow," he replied simply.

When Colin saw Maxwell's message, his face turned cold. After a few minutes, Colin called Ethan.

The bell rang for a while before Ethan picked up the phone and said lazily, "Colin."

Colin asked, "Are you sleeping?"

Ethan answered, "Yes. I just came back from another place and I'm catching up on my sleep. What's

up?"

Colin said in a deep voice, "I suspect that something is wrong with Maxwell. Please help me

investigate."

Ethan sat up and leaned against the bedhead. He took the cigarette from the bedside table and put it

between his lips. "When do you want the results?"

Colin said, "Tonight."

Ethan lit up his cigarette. "Okay, wait for my news."

Colin, "Mmm." Just as he was going to hang up the phone, he thought of something and then joked,

"How can you sleep alone?"

"Don't give me a hard time." The cigarette quivered as he spoke.

Colin teased, " I just feel sorry for little Ethan."

Ethan sneered, "Thank you for your kindness."

Colin asked, "How are you and Ms. Rowan going?" Hearing Violet's name, Ethan nibbled the cigarette Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

between his lips. "The other day, I had dinner at her place."

Colin joked, "It's good. There's progress."

Ethan continued, "She lives with her boyfriend, and they cooked a meal to thank me."

Colin said, "Forget what I said."

Ethan laughed in his anger. "I've got to go."

Ethan hung up the phone and ordered his men to investigate Maxwell.

After that, he leaned against the bedhead, smoking. The picture of having dinner at Violet's place

flashed in his mind. The smile on his face disappeared and was replaced with a gloomy look.

An hour later, Ethan received a call from his subordinate.

Ethan asked coldly, "What's going on with Maxwell?"

The subordinate said, "I don't know that clearly. I just found out that he was taken away by Brandon's

men this noon and never showed up again."

Ethan said coldly, "I see."

The subordinate asked, "Mr. Bond, should I keep looking into it?"

Ethan said, "No need." He hung up the phone and called Colin.

When the call was connected, Ethan said, "Maxwell was taken away by Brandon's men this noon. If I

guess correctly, Brandon should know your plan."

Colin cursed, "Idiot."

Ethan took off the cigarette and snuffed it out. "What are you going to do next?"

Colin replied in a deep voice, "We proceed as planned."

Ethan frowned. "I'll send my men to protect you."

Colin paused and said, "But keep a low profile. Make me hurt a little bit."

Ethan faltered, "But Faye..." Faye was Colin's weakness. When it came to Faye, there was a twitch in

his heart.

Colin kept silent for a long time before he replied, "Hide it from her."

Ethan mocked, "Are you sure you can hide it?"

Colin smiled bitterly and said honestly, "Not sure."

Ethan teased, "I don't advise you to be honest with her. Anyway, it wasn't me who knelt before her."

Faye got off the plane and took a taxi to the hotel.

Arriving at the hotel, Faye paid the money and walked in with her suitcase.

Colin had booked a top-class hotel for her. When Faye checked in, the receptionist greeted her with a

smile. "Ms. Nash, welcome you."

Faye smiled and asked, "How far is it from Comcast?"

The receptionist replied, "It's not far. If you take a taxi, it will take about half an hour."

"Thank you," Faye said.

Faye thought to herself, "Take it easy. There is a problem with the contract with the company in

Comcast. Since I'll stay here for a week, why don't I make the best use of the time?

When Faye was talking to the receptionist, a man walked in, dragging a black suitcase.

Standing by Faye's side, the man took out his ID card and handed it to the receptionist. "Hello, check

in, please."

The man wore sunglasses and a sweater.

But it could still be seen that he looked very handsome.

The receptionist took the man's ID card, her face flushing. She handed Faye a room card, "Ms. Nash,

here are your ID card and room card."

Faye put them away." Thank you."

Faye left away, rolling her suitcase.

When Faye waited for the elevator, the man walked to her with his suitcase.

The man watched Faye with interest.

Faye faced the elevator door without emotion on her face. "How much did Brandon pay you to follow

me from Cocanel to Yicbridge?"
