Chapter 261 All Because Of That B*tch

The sound of a cell phone ringing was suddenly heard.

The screen of Byron’s phone started blinking as it lay at the head of the bed.

Rosalie inadvertently glanced at it. When she saw the caller ID on the screen, she lowered her gaze and looked away.

The phone kept ringing for a few more moments before Byron turned around and picked it up.

When he saw the caller ID, Byron reflexively glanced at Rosalie. He then walked to the window before answering the call. “Is something the matter?”

On the other end, Wendy’s voice sounded annoyed as she grumbled, “I heard that Estie’s kindergarten is holding a tree planting charity event. Are you going to take Estie to the event?” “Yeah,” Byron replied flatly. “Hasn’t Estie always disliked crowds? She’s never participated in such activities before, so why are you bringing her for the event this time?” The expression on Wendy’s face was gradually turning more and more dissatisfied. Byron could not be bothered to entertain her, so he tersely replied, “Estie wants to go, so I’ll be bringing her.” As for why Estie wanted to come, Byron naturally was not about to explain to her

Wendy clenched her fist tightly, suppressing her anger. She patiently asked, “Why didn’t you ask me to go with you? Estie is a girl, so there are probably many things that will be inconvenient for you. If I’m there, I can help you out.”

Byron glanced at Rosalie. As he watched her accompany the kids, the sound of Wendy’s voice in his ear just made him feel annoyed. “What purpose would there be for you to be present? Besides, it’s a parent-child event, so with what status would you be attending the event?”

Wendy choked after hearing his words. With embarrassment, she said, “Doesn’t everyone already know about the matter regarding our marriage? Besides, I’ve taken care of Estie for so many years now-” © 2024 Nôv/el/Dram/a.Org.

“If there’s nothing else, I’ll be hanging up first,” Byron cut her off coldly.

As soon as he said that, he hung up the phone without even giving Wendy a chance to speak.

The room was relatively quiet, so Rosalie could faintly hear the voice coming from Byron’s phone.

Rosalie felt a mix of complicated feelings when she heard Wendy’s words.

Although Byron did not let Wendy finish speaking, Rosalie knew what she was about to say.

It was none other than the fact that Wendy would become Estie’s mother sooner or later. Everyone knew that. If she were to attend as Estie’s parent, no one would question it.

The thought made Rosalie feel uneasy. She patted Estie’s head and said, “Estie, it’s getting late, so you should go to sleep early. You still need to get up early tomorrow to plant trees!” Estie nodded obediently and crawled into bed.

Rosalie lightly nodded at Byron, then escorted the two boys to bed.

Meanwhile, at the Fuller family’s villa.

Wendy stared at the darkened screen of her phone, and it took a long moment for her to snap out of it. When she did, her face was filled with rage she swept all the items on the table onto the floor.

She deliberately asked Byron why he suddenly planned on bringing Estie to the event this time.

Byron’s answer was as she had expected. He was as indifferent as ever!

Even so, what did it matter?

Even if he did not tell her, she could more or less guess the answer! It was all because of that b *tch!

Since the kindergarten was holding a parent child activity, that b*tch would definitely bring her two little bastards there!

Byron had chased that wench all the way to North City the last time, so she would not be surprised if this time, he was attending the event just for her!

If she allowed the two of them to continue like this, who knew what would happen?! The thought of what might happen made Wendy tremble with anger! No, she could not just stand by and watch as that woman got closer and closer to Byron! Even if Byron were to reject her, she still had to go and see it for herself!
