Mrs. Gibson Your Identity Is Exposed Chapter 327

Chapter 327 A Good Day

Talking about marriage, Jose was pleased. “Melissa and Murray getting engaged is a good thing. But

they don‘t have enough time. I invited a pastor to help find a good date for their engagement. The most

recent one is at the end of this month. They can get engaged then.” He chatted with Marc.

The old man was so delighted that he couldn‘t stop grinning. “Great! Once they are engaged, their

wedding day won‘t be far away.”

Melissa glanced at Murray only to find he was staring at her gently,

“Meli, leave the engagement to us. You don‘t have to worry.” Marc reassured a bit concerned.

“Don‘t worry, grandpa. Everything will be fine.” She knew what was on his mind. Marc was still haunted

by the memories of her announcing that she would cancel the engagement.

Hearing this, the grandfather was relieved.

Ryleigh had planned to gain Marc‘s sympathy. But when she reached the ward, she overheard their

conversation and clenched her fists in anger.

With Marc being around, Murray and Melissa wouldn‘t have any misunderstandings no matter how

hard she

tried.

They just had a big fight. But now they were no longer mad at each other as Marc helped them resolve

the dispute. They were even talking about their engagement.

“That slut, Melissa. Who knew what trick she used to coax Marc!” Ryleigh had to find a way.

Murray was her man and she would never let Melissa steal him away from her!

She cursed Melissa quietly and returned to her ward.

Melissa narrowed her eyes as she seemed to have seen a figure by the door.

If she wasn‘t mistaken, it was Ryleigh.

Having been diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer and she was still hanging around.

“What are you looking at?” Murray frowned when he caught her staring at the door.

“Nothing,” Melissa said, shaking her head.

“Then, it‘s a deal. You‘ll get engaged at the end of the month.” Marc‘s gaze fixed on the couple.

“Sure. I‘m fine with it.” A smile came to Murray‘s lips.

He wouldn‘t allow anything to go wrong this time, he would give Melissa a grand, lavish engagement.

Having sent his fiancée home, Murray drove back to Gibson‘s villa.

It had been a long time since he came back

“Mr. Gibson, you‘re back,” Jane said respectfully. Chapter 327 A Good Day

Murray nodded at her before walking to the second floor.

Sarah and Claire were waiting anxiously in a room on the second floor.

After their plot was exposed by Melissa, Murray asked the bodyguards to bring them back to Gibson‘s

villa and put them under house arrest.

“Claire, do you think Murray will be so heartless that he‘s going to lock us up forever?” Sarah asked,

concerned.

“You are his mother! When his anger dissipates, he will let us out.” Claire comforted her.

“I hope so.” Sarah sighed.

“It‘s all Melissa‘s fault. That slut!” Thinking about Melissa, Claire felt she was burned with jealousy. “If it

hadn‘t been for her, Murray wouldn‘t have treated us this way!”

“You‘re right, Claire!” Sarah nodded. “Ever since Melissa came here, the family has been in a mess.

Murray must have been enchanted by her. He doesn‘t care about me anymore. I‘m his mom!”

“Exactly!” Claire gritted her teeth. “If they got married, I’m afraid we are going to be locked here

forever!”

“This can‘t happen! I won‘t let them get married!” Sarah said angrily.

Thinking about what Melissa had done, Sarah ‘clenched her fists until her knuckles were white.

She couldn‘t imagine what a miserable life she would live if Melissa married Murray and had a say in

Gibson‘s family.

She would ask Murray to deal with her.

Taking a deep breath, Sarah promised that she would never allow it to happen!

“Don‘t be angry, Sarah. I‘ll get you some water.” Claire pretended to care about her.

The moment she opened the door, Claire saw the hunky man she had long wanted to see.

Claire froze for a moment, before happily saying, “Murray!”

Ever since they were put under house arrest, Murray had never come to see them and refused to pick

up their calls.

Now that he was here, did it mean that he wasn‘t mad at them anymore?

“Murray, you‘re here.” Sarah was delighted.

Stepping into the room, the man announced emotionless, “I‘m here to tell you that Melissa and I are

going to be engaged.”

“What? Sarah and Claire said in unison, shocked.

“No way!‘ Sarah shouted

“No one can‘t change my mind,” He said, his cold gaze falling on Sarah,

“Murray, what do you see in Melissa? Why do you go against me for her? You locked me and Claire up

for her! We are your family!” Sarah said furiously.

Murray frowned. The corners of his mouth curled into a mocking smile. “Family? Isn‘t grandpa your

family?

You nearly killed him for your selfish desires!”

“Murray, we‘re wronged!” Claire‘s eyes glinted with shrewdness. She grabbed Murray‘s arm and said

tearfully,

“We were forced!”

Murray snorted, not buying her story

“It is true! It was Jim who forced us to do this! He threatened us, saying he would kill us if we didn‘t do it

for him.” Claire bit her lip.

“Is that so?” Murray glanced at her.

Claire nodded, “Please believe me. Jim hated Marc for driving him out of the family, so he took

revenge. We didn‘t have a choice. Jim mailed the poison to me. You can check it yourself.”

“I only know it was you who poisoned grandpa!” Murray‘s voice was icy cold, disappointed with Sarah

and

Claire. This content © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

However, since Claire said she was forced by him, Jim was probably involved as well.

After all, he had always held a grudge against the Gibson family.

Claire didn‘t lie. The poison might have been given to her by Jim.

Now, Jim had become Sebastian’s sidekick. Was Sebastian the mastermind behind the plot?
