Love at First Night (Frank and Judith)

Chapter 38

Chapter 38

Judith took a sip of wine gracefully. She didn’t know much about red wine. She thought that all red wines tasted the same.

Adam put on disposable gloves and smiled at Judith. He picked up a shrimp on the plate and began to peel it, “Judy, here. This is your favorite shrimp.” Adam brought the shrimp to Judith’s mouth. Judith opened her mouth and ate it with a smile. As Frank saw that, his gaze turned cold. What Adam and Judith did was intimate. It was hard not to believe that they were not in a relationship. Edwin looked at Frank silently and continued to eat his food. Judith also put on gloves and started to peel the shrimp herself. She felt that was more enjoyable. “Wow! It’s so delicious! I’ve been a little busy these days. I haven’t had this for a long time. I love this taste so much. Adam, the food here is authentic.” Judith smiled. “Yeah!” Adam smiled and nodded. Adam also ate very quickly, as if the two of them were in a competition. The large portion of shrimp was quickly emptied by them. “Judy, leave the last one to me.” Adam was peeling one shrimp in his hand while staring at the one on the plate.

Judith blinked at him pitifully. “Adam, shouldn’t you leave the last one to me? You’ve eaten more than I did.”

Adam quickly ate the shrimp in his hand, then grabbed the one on the plate and smiled at Judy. Judith pouted, her bright eyes full of grievances. Adam could see that Judith was faking it. He peeled the shrimp but didn’t eat it. Then he smiled and took it to Judith’s mouth. Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.

Judith ate it and smiled happily. In the eyes of outsiders, the two of them were like a loving couple. But in Judith’s eyes, Adam was her only bosom friend. They had a great time. However, Frank was miserable. “Judy, do you want to see a movie?” Adam took a sip of water and asked. It was still early. Judith quickly shook her head. “Adam, you could go back home. I’ll go to the nearby real estate to see if there is a suitable house.”

Judith was a little anxious. In two months, her children would have to go to school. She had to hurry. Adam got up and said with worry, “Judy, I’ll go with you. You are too pure. I’m afraid you’ll be tricked.” Judith glared at him and smiled. “Wait a moment. I need to go to the bathroom.” Judith got up and handed him her bag. “Okay. Go ahead!” Adam smiled and took her bag, waiting for her.

Judith smiled and left. Judith stood in front of the mirror, washing her hands. Suddenly, she saw two familiar people in the mirror. Judith did not expect such a coincidence. Judith didn’t expect that she would see them on the second day after she came back to Mayfield. The memories from seven years ago instantly came to his mind. The tearing pain tore her heart. Sherly and her mother Julissa were still the same, showy and glossy. Especially Sherly. She was more mature and charming than she was seven years ago. Seeing them getting closer and closer, Judith suddenly did not know what to do. She did not have the courage to face them right now. Judith stared at the laughing people in the mirror. Suddenly, someone appeared by her side. Judith turned to look and saw Frank. She had no time to think about it and quickly took a step towards Frank. Frank saw that Judith was upset. He was just about to say something, but to his surprise, Judith suddenly threw herself into his arms! “Mr. Taylor, please, just a moment!” Judith pleaded in a trembling voice.
