I Am Unstoppable

Chapter 404

Chapter 404

That was the art of ruling.

Now that Jonathan had been crowned as the vampire king, he understood all too well the loneliness of being at the top.

Being in a position of power meant that one couldn't simply be kind-hearted and expect everything to fall into place. There were countless individuals who coveted his position, eager to seize it for themselves.

In light of this, Jonathan recognized Titus' son as a threat. Thus, he would find a way to eliminate the enemy.

Solorel was pleased with Jonathan's performance. “Titus' son is called Anakin Langston, and he already reached Level Nine of the Immortal Stage ten years ago. Moreover, he wields formidable magical weapons. Anakin's foothold is in Soblonaro; he has gathered a loyal band of skilled fighters there, but he grew discontented with his inability to condense his divine mana. There are rumors stating that he went to Lost Ruins Realm.”

“Lost Ruins? What kind of place is that?” Jonathan asked.

Solorel replied, “You have seen our revered ancestor's magical weapon—Disc of Fate. It can unlock portals to various dimensional spaces with our revered ancestor's powers. Time and space are the most extraordinary phenomena in this world. The realms of dimensional spaces do exist. Beyond the grasp of ordinary mortals lies a multitude of realms that are unlocked by the Disc of Fate. Ignorance may shield them from the truth, but the existence of these dimensions remains undeniable.”

Jonathan couldn't help but smile wryly. “Prince Solorel, there's no need for such lengthy explanations. I'm well aware of the existence of dimensional spaces. Let me give you a practical example. In August 1981, a ship named Sea Breeze mysteriously vanished in the notorious Devil's Triangle. Six individuals on board the vessel vanished without a trace. However, after eight years had passed, the same ship miraculously reappeared in the original area of the Devil's Triangle. And astonishingly, the six people on board were unharmed. The common factor among them was that they had lost all sense of time and were unaware eight years had passed; it felt like a fleeting moment to them. They reluctantly accepted that eight years had passed only after the investigators persistently reminded them of the elapsed time. When asked what they had been doing during that time, they had no answers because they felt they had only experienced a brief moment and hadn't done anything.”

“The vast and mysterious universe is beyond the comprehension of ordinary mortals. Wonders abound in this grand cosmos,” Solorel remarked with a faint smile. “The Lost Ruins is but one of these dimensional spaces.”

“I disagree. Many dimensional spaces exist, and each can be likened to diverse disks within a computer system. Some are functioning as storage, while others serve as trash repositories. Regardless, the boundless universe reign as the true harmonious dominion, the very core that upholds balance,” Jonathan opined.

Solorel nodded in agreement. “Indeed, the boundless universe is the central hub for Earth.”

Jonathan's excitement grew as he continued, “However, within the vast expanse of the universe, Earth is merely one computer among many. Yet, this computer connects to the entire cosmic internet. Thus, all things converge into one and originate from the same source.”

A flicker of admiration shimmered in Solorel's eyes as he praised, “Your Majesty, your wisdom is truly

exceptional.”

Jonathan chuckled. “I remember reading a science fiction novel that talks about a bold concept. It proposed that we humans are actually extraterrestrial beings exiled to Earth. After many years, the elders on the alien planet felt that our exile had been too long, so they sent four individuals to investigate. If we had repented, we would have been allowed to return to the alien world. However, the physical bodies of the four aliens couldn't make the journey, so they had to travel through the realms of the soul. It's like how information can be transmitted instantly across vast distances on the internet. The primordial spirit is composed of information and thoughts, so their spirit was sent to Earth. Since they lacked physical bodies, they had to be reincarnated. One of them was reincarnated as Siddhartha Gautama, known as Gautama Buddha, another became Muhammad, and another became Jesus. So, you see, the teachings of these three great religious figures all aim to guide people to be virtuous and do good deeds so that after death, they can have a positive outcome. Whether you believe in any religion, as long as you lead a righteous life, you can return to their home planet.”

“That's an interesting story. It's very imaginative. But what about the last person? Weren't there four individuals?” queried Solorel.

“You would never guess who the last person became.”

“Could it be our revered ancestor?”

Jonathan rolled his eyes. “How could the author of the novel know our ancestor!”

Though Solorel felt a slight embarrassment, his response was not surprising. In his heart, Leahra was held in higher regard than any of the three individuals mentioned in the novel.

“Well, who is it then?” His curiosity was piqued by Jonathan's words.

The latter replied smilingly, “It's Albert Einstein!”

Solorel couldn't help but be taken aback. “The author is quite remarkable. It may seem like fiction, but it unveils many unexplained phenomena.” He paused for a moment before adding, “The first three were imaginative, but including Einstein was a brilliant touch.”

“That's right. Einstein's research on relativity and quantum mechanics provided excellent explanations for concepts like spacetime and dimensional spaces. He once shared a story taking place in the future about a pair of twin brothers in their twenties. The younger brother traveled in a spacecraft at a speed of two hundred and ninety thousand kilometers per second, whereas the older brother remained on Earth. Fifty years later, when the older brother had become an elderly man with gray hair, he discovered his younger brother was still in his thirties! It turns out that only a few years had passed for the younger brother traveling at the speed of light!” Jonathan explained.

Solorel expressed his interest, asking, “What's the name of this novel? I'd like to read it when I have the time.”

Scratching the back of his head, Jonathan answered, “I don't remember anymore. It's an old novel.”

“To think that the author envisioned such ideas a long time ago. It's truly phenomenal.”

Jonathan chuckled, then shifted the conversation back to the main subject. “Prince Solorel, despite our lengthy discussion, I still find myself uncertain about the nature of the Lost Ruins. What exactly is it, and why is Anakin so determined to venture there?”

“It's difficult to find Blood Lotus and Blood Bodhi in the boundless universe. The Lost Ruins is believed to be the sole place where Blood Bodhi might exist. Anakin seeks to locate Blood Bodhi within the Lost Ruins in order to condense his divine mana successfully. It is said that the Lost Ruins serves as an exile realm, where powerful Divine Masters banished numerous ancient beasts that once threatened human survival during the primordial era.”

“How does one gain entry into the Lost Ruins?”

Solorel admitted, “I'm not entirely certain about the specifics either.”

Realizing the futility of pursuing that particular line of inquiry, Jonathan steered the conversation toward a more pressing concern. “Considering Anakin's resolute decision to enter the Lost Ruins, it seems unlikely he will meet his demise there. If he were to perish, it could be somewhat manageable. However, if he were to succeed and return, bolstered by Titus' instigation, it would undoubtedly unleash chaos in the world.”

“We shall face any challenges that come our way. There's no need to fear Anakin. I firmly believe in our revered ancestor's guidance. Anakin can never truly establish legitimacy. You, Your Majesty, are the rightful ruler!” Solorel stated confidently.

“Unfortunately, killing Titus will only provide Anakin with the excuse to unleash chaos. If we spare his life, he'll also cause trouble.” Jonathan shook his head. “Hence, being afraid of Anakin is not a viable choice. The only solution is for me to rapidly enhance my abilities and keep Anakin on edge.”

“Your Majesty, I have every confidence in your abilities.”

With a faint sigh, Jonathan said, “I only hope that Anakin does not return too soon so that I'll have more time.”

“You need not worry, Your Majesty. You must understand that you are the luckiest person, and fortune favors the righteous!”

Jonathan burst into laughter upon hearing Solorel's words.

As Jonathan escorted Solorel out, the former said, “Prince Solorel, would it be all right if I bring my two friends to visit the treasure vault? Don't worry; I only intend to show them around. I will not take anything from there.”

In response, Solorel couldn't help smiling. “Your Majesty, as I have mentioned, all the treasures in the treasure vault belong to you. I have no objections, even if you wish to give them away. I can only propose suggestions, whereas you hold the power to make the final decisions.”

Jonathan chuckled. “All right, then. Rest assured. I know what to do.”

“I trust you, Your Majesty.”

With that, Solorel took his leave.

After returning to his bedroom, Jonathan looked at the key and silk pouch in his possession.

The revered ancestor is so amazing. What exactly is inside that can save me from danger?

He couldn't make sense of the situation.

His recollection of a novel he had read in the past reminded him of the fascinating concept of silk pouches being utilized as clever tactics.

A strong sense of curiosity welled up within Jonathan as he couldn't resist the yearning to unveil the contents of the silk pouch.

If there's some ingenious advice inside, I can use it in times of peril. So, why not take a look now?

As such, he opened the silk pouch decisively and found a piece of paper inside, as he expected.

Upon closer examination, he realized that the words were written in Ustranasian.

The handwriting was elegant and showcased the primogenitor's excellent penmanship.

There was only one sentence written: In times of peril, seek refuge within Fog City for safety!

Jonathan's curiosity about Fog City grew stronger once again. He knew it was where Leahra had cultivated her powers, and now he was eager to explore the place. This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

Next, he swiftly left his bedroom and went to knock on Mabel's door.

“What's the matter?” Her voice was tinged with sleepiness and impatience.

One would not be pleased when one's afternoon nap was interrupted.

He said smilingly, “Good news! I'll take you both to the vampires' treasure vault and Fog City, where our

revered ancestor cultivated her powers.”

“Great! Wait for me!” Mabel replied enthusiastically.

Jonathan then went to find Beatrix.
