His Destructive, Toxic Love

Chapter 143

She couldn't muster a response. Aaron's gentleness, or lack thereof, was entirely contingent on Casper's mood.

"What do you think about me buying out Martin Hospital? I'll drive the Martin family into a corner and make Aaron a public pariah. Let's see how he finds the mood to romance you then." He was rough, overpowering.

Eliza couldn't help but scream. She wrestled against him but couldn't break free.

"Can't bear to part with him, Mrs. Welton?" He bit her earlobe, his large hand gripping her chin, forcing her to face him. "Feeling sorry for Aaron? Well, tough it out."

He kissed her fiercely, each one more intense than the last. Not until Eliza went limp did he finally, contentedly, pull away.

As the bedroom door shut, she began to cry.

Casper went downstairs. He lit a cigarette, taking a seat in the living room to smoke.

Her lingering scent, a faint hint of lavender, clung to him, refusing to fade.

Marian approached cautiously. "Sir, do you need anything?"

He stubbed out his cigarette. "Got any pasta left?"

"Sir, are you hungry? I can cook some for you."

"I'll do it myself."

Casper rolled up his sleeves and headed into the kitchen.

Marian followed, setting up the pots and placing the pasta aside.

"That's enough. You can go rest."

This was Casper's first time cooking.

The privileged young son, never having lifted a finger in the kitchen, struggled even with a simple bowl of pasta.

He wanted to make a sunny-side-up egg. After several attempts, he finally managed one. Once the pasta and egg were ready, he even sprinkled some chopped chives for garnish. Carrying the bowl, he went upstairs.

Eliza sat on the bed, hugging her knees, lost in thought.

He handed her the bowl. "No cake left, so have some pasta."

His tone was rough. Eliza stared at the bowl, her gaze resting on his large, defined hand. For a long time, she didn't take it.

"Do I need to feed you?" he asked, exasperated.

He walked over, picked up the fork, gently blew on the pasta, and brought it to her lips. "Come on, have a bite."

She frowned, her cold gaze fixed on the pasta. In the next moment, she knocked the bowl from his hands. She didn't need his pretense.

The bowl crashed to the floor, the pasta and the perfectly cooked sunny-side-up egg scattering everywhere.

He grabbed her neck, fury in his eyes. "Think you can disrespect me?"NôvelDrama.Org © content.

She glared at him, her beautiful eyes alight with defiance.

"Casper, I've never liked chives.

Still not satisfied, he pinned her down and fucked her again.

"You better stay faithful. If I find out you've been with Aaron alone, I can make your whole family disappear within a day, and I won't hesitate to take the Martin family with you."

Eliza's face turned as white as a sheet. She stared into his eyes, saw the darkness within, and slapped him.

The slap caught him off guard.

Casper raised his hand high, and Eliza closed her eyes. His hand clenched into a fist in the air, but it landed next to her face.

"Still got the energy to hit me, huh?" He sneered. "If you want me to finish you off, just say it."
