Gina, And Her Triplet Alphas

Continuation from to Chapter 1

Jasmine

“Are you serious right now?” I asked my dad as I watched him from across the room sitting on the couch reading a newspaper, like he hadn’t just said the most ridiculous thing I had ever heard.

“I don’t remember making a joke.” My dad replied dryly, not looking up from the newspaper.

“Jasmine, we’ve talked about it before; why are you acting like you’re just hearing it for the first time?” My mom added from the kitchen, where she went to get the plates for us to eat.

I looked down at my hands, my mind wandering, thinking of a way to get myself out of the situation.

“Please, Dad. Can I not go? How do you expect me to go to school in a place where I hardly know anyone? I’ve spent most of my life here, so let me just continue.” I resorted to pleading.

I knew my dad, and being sarcastic and strong-headed would only make him solidify his decision.

He stood up from the couch to join my mom and me at the dining table before raising his head to look at me.

“What’s so bad about the Silver Moon Pack College that you don’t want to go there?” He asked me, staring at me intently and waiting for my answers.

“I just don’t want to go there. I’d have to leave you and Mom all alone.” I answered grudgingly.

Since my parents and I were rogues, we didn’t live in a pack like normal werewolves.

Even though my father is the alpha of our tiny cot, it is owned by no one. So anyone, regardless of whether you packed less or not, could leave there.

I have never felt left out there because everybody minded their own business and did their own thing. It was the most convenient way to live for a rogue.

“Oh, come on, Jasmine, you’re just exaggerating. Your father and I will be fine, and besides, your best friend, Mia, lives there. Anyone else would be excited that they got to go to school with their best friend. Plus, we can be assured that you don’t have to run home every little break you get in school, because aside from your best friend and her three brothers, the alphas and Luna would take good care of you, I’m sure.” My mom said

My shoulders sagged because I knew that there wasn’t anything I could do. They would just counter everything I said with something of their own.

I bit the inside of my bottom l*p as I thought. Being away from my parents wasn’t the real reason I didn’t want to go.

I didn’t want to go because I’d have to study at the same school as those three mean mice.

Agh! God! How I hate those three mean mice in the guise of Mia’s brothers.

Getting to live and study with Mia was an upside and something I was happy about, but the downsides outweighed them. I didn’t want to have to deal with Mia’s brothers again.

I knew they hated me, and trust me, I hated them too, but I just didn’t want to have to deal with them. They would make sure to make my life miserable.

I felt a hand touch my chin and raise my head. I looked up to see my mom staring at me with her warm, brown eyes.

“Jasmine, your father and I are doing this for your good. You’d finally get to stay in a pack and live like a normal werewolf. We want you to experience what it’s like to live in a pack. You’d get to be among people that love and care for each other.” She encouraged me.

“But they aren’t my people. I’m only a rogue; I grew up as one. There’s no way that these people would see me as one of them. Besides, I think I prefer to live among people that mind their own business.” I said, unable to hide the fact that I was totally against their decision to send me away to those vultures.

My mom placed both her hands on either side of my face, making sure I was focused on her.

“You can’t say that until you try. You never know what could happen.” She said this, giving me a reassuring smile before turning back to the food set out on the table.

She was about to take a plate and set it in front of me when I decided I needed some time alone.Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.

“I think I lost my appetite; please excuse me,” I said, standing up from the table before storming out of the dining room and returning to my room.

I jumped into my bed, sighing in annoyance. It had to be the worst day of my entire life. The decision my father had made was not something I would have seen coming in a thousand years.

When my father broke the news to me right after my high school graduation, I thought he was just making a joke. I never knew he was serious until recently.

At first, I thought I could convince him to change his mind, but it seems his and my mother’s minds were all made up.

I couldn’t believe that I would have to see those three brothers again. I knew they would try to make my life difficult, but I’d have to find a way to avoid them or fight them off.

Just then, my phone rang on my bedside table, and I sat up and reached for it to check who it was. It was Mia.

A weak smile lit up my face before I picked up the call.

Mia and I were best friends. Even though we didn’t live close to each other or get to see each other often, that didn’t put a dent in our friendship.

We exchanged calls and made plans to spend time together, except that her brothers would end up ruining most of our outings.

Mia had grown up to be a beautiful and perfect young lady, just like her mother. She was liked and admired by a lot of people, and I only ever heard good things about her.

On the other hand, I was the exact opposite. I was a tomboy and wasn’t the perfect daughter that my parents wanted.

I was cold to most people and only talked to a few people I knew. People tend to stay away from me because I look too serious for some of them to handle. It wasn’t my fault that I was the way I was.

My mother wasn’t exactly the Disney kind of mom that would pamper and spoil you. She thought I was strong and self-reliant at all times, and people see that as being proud, Jasmine. How are you doing today?” Mia’s happy voice rang out from the phone.

“I’m good, Mia. And you?” I questioned, doing my best to brighten my soured mood.

“I’m doing fine as well, thank you.” I could hear the happiness in her voice, and I knew that her parents had probably told her about what my parents had decided.

“So… I heard about your parent’s decision. I’m so happy right now. I can’t believe we’d get to study and live together.” She squealed.

Oh, Mia.

I didn’t want to tell her how I truly felt because I knew she would feel bad, so I just went with it and pretended to be happy as well.

“Yeah, I can’t believe it either.” It’s like a dream.” I said, trying to make my voice sound happy.

“My parents told us this morning, and my brothers started questioning them, acting like the fools that they are. But you don’t have to worry; as long as I’m here, I’d never let my brothers get close to you,” she said confidently.

I let out a small laugh, knowing that there was nothing Mia could do against her brothers, and it wasn’t like I was afraid of them; I just didn’t want to have to deal with them.

“I’m already excited, knowing that we’ll finally get to go to school together. I promise you’ll enjoy your stay here,” she cooed.

“I know I will. Thank you for always being there for me, Mia. I don’t know what I would do without you.” I said, meaning every word.

“Awwww. You’re welcome, Jas. I can’t wait to see you.”

“Don’t worry, you won’t have to wait long. I’ll see you soon, okay?”

“Okay, Jas. See you soon. Bye.”

“Bye,” I said back as the line went dead.

I let out a deep breath, the smile dropping from my face, before throwing my phone to the other side of the bed and collapsing, resigning to my fate.

There was no way I could avoid it. It was going to happen eventually, so I just had to be prepared for whatever I was going to face.

And heaven knows that I was never going to allow myself to be a pushover.
