CHAPTER 30

ANITA'S POV

After Ben mentioned that I was starting to be a monster, I took a few seconds to think about it. Could it be true? Could it be that I am losing myself because of loving the Alpha?

I used to be kind, I was the type of person who couldn't handle injustice, but look at me now.I would rather watch someone get banished just because I don't want to face the man that I love deeply. "This is not you. He is slowly turning you into a monster. Please open this door and do the right thing!" I heard Ben shout as I was leaning on the door.

I wanted to ignore him but I couldn't. I felt a ger bottling up in me and I knew that I had to let it out, otherwise it was going to turn out to be chaotic.

I flung the door open and he smiled a little when he realised that I had done what he wanted.

"I knew you would listen to me. This is who you are Anita, you are not a monster," Ben said.

"Ben, if you ever question Alpha Robin's authority ever again, I will tell him about the rumour you told me," I warned.

"What rumour?" He asked, looking around nervously.

"Let me not repeat myself. What I am urging you, moving forward is to respect the Alpha. If you don't, I will ensure that you will be the next person to be banished from the pack!" I said.

"Come on, you cannot simply do that," He said with a frown.

"Don't try me. You barely know me. You don't know where I come from, you don't know what drives me. You don't know anything about me," I said.

"I want to know you. I am your friend. Allow me to know you. My worry is that you are trusting the wrong person. Alpha Robin cannot be trusted," He said.

"There we go again, you keep on mentioning him and I don't like it. You should leave Ben, you have overstayed your welcome," I told him before closing the door on his face once again. I am done with him, for real this time. I could tell that he was scared of who I had become but I couldn't care less.

Recalling all the pain and the hurt that I went through just to be with him, I was not going to allow anything to come between us.

No person including Ben can come between us. Not even Lola. I will put all of them in their place.

Anyone who tries to interfere with my relationship with Alpha Robin is an enemy. I will fight just to be with him because I know how he makes me feel.

I will fight just to be his woman. I don't care what comes my way. I had already lost my sister, the person I cared the most about. Right now I will put myself first, be selfish with my needs and finally be happy in love. I didn't wait for the right time to fall in love for it to come to an abrupt end because of other people's needs. This is my turn to put myself first.

ALPHA ROBIN'S POV

Harry was so excited that I had finally given in and allowed myself to love Anita. Fighting the feeling was simply hurting me since I had fallen in love with her.

Kissing her and making out with her excited me and I knew that I had to start planning for our special night as soon as today. I wanted her so much. I wanted to pleasure her and feel her sweetness so badly.

"Look at you, you are so happy. This is how you are supposed to be and feel. You took life way too seriously and I am glad that you have finally seen the light," Harry teased and I ended up laughing out loud. He was right, apart from my past relationship, I don't remember the last time that I was this excited.

I had to stop thinking about Anita for a while and go talk to the Beta. He had crossed the line when he questioned my judgement and he needed to be put in place.

"Hi sir, I was not expecting you," He said after I walked into the office and he joined me.

"You are in love with that woman?" He asked, just to be sure.

"Do you have a problem with it, because it seems like you have," I told him.

"No, of course not." He said even though from his face I could tell that he was dissatisfied with my reply.

"Be careful," He added.

"Shut up right there! Don't tell me something like that. I love the woman, she loves me back. What can possibly go wrong?" I asked. He was making me angry. I really hate it when someone doubts my intentions and my capability to handle things.

"You said the same thing about that witch." The Beta reminded me.

"Shut up! Shut the fuck up. She cheated, she fucked another man. Anita will not fuck up. I am her first love," I defended myself.

"I know you don't want me to question you and everything but you should know that Anita is hiding things from you. She is a hybrid. I am pretty sure that she has not mentioned that to you. Do you see what I am driving at? I don't want you to make the same mistake," Beta said and I realised that I made a mistake coming to him and actually listening to what he had to say.

"You are just jealous of me, nothing you are telling me is true. You loved Lola yet I fucked her before you. I know you want Anita but I am here to let you know that she is fully mine and I am going to make love to her tonight," I said with an evil smirk playing on my lips.
