CHAPTER 35- HE WAS WILLING TO GIVE HIMSELF TOO
CHAPTER 35- HE WAS WILLING TO GIVE HIMSELF TOO
The following day when he met her again he couldn't resist her; when she touched him he felt a sharp
pain in his abdomen which was both pleasant and peculiar for him. He couldn't take his eyes off her;
the more he saw her the more he feared that his emotions for her were not normal and the comments
were rather true.
Was he... Really in love with her?
When he was with her he felt like forgetting everything and just being with her, nuzzled in her company.
His young heart was blossoming with a beautiful emotion. It was hard for him to accept this and till
lunch, all of these worries were churning in his heart; the worst kind of feeling in the world was the one
that is left unknown.
Ryan finally gave up denying everything; he liked her, he did like being with her and wanted to protect
her all his love. He started to accept this fact and even if he had some doubts about it everything
vanished into thin air when they had a heart-to-heart in her room.
When he saw her cry and sob about being lonely was when he realized how important was she to him;
his heart, which won't even react to the sounds of gunshot and death, was aching when he saw her cry.
That was the very moment he accepted his emotions and vowed to himself- he was gonna be with her
forever and never let her be lonely again. When he said she had him he meant it, he had already given
his heart to her and was willing to give himself to her completely.
Ryan till today was only living for himself, with no dreams to achieve and no wish to fulfill he lives the
life of a rock- with no purpose at all. But today, in her tear-filled eyes, he saw the true meaning of his
breathing; he finally realized why he took form on this Earth- it was to love and cherish her.
Ryan's eyes which were lost in mellow fantasies slowly blinked to reality. Even though his face was as
straight as possible his features were a little soft and tender than usual.
He said firmly, "I am gonna be with her forever." Jack kept his hands on his shoulders and asked,
"Ryan, do you like her?" Ryan kept mum but the corner of his lips did curl up a bit as he turned away to
face the other side. Jack sat there shocked unable to swallow the intel, his bro was in love already.
He pin-pointed, "But she is just a kid... She won't even understand what you are saying to her."
Ryan folded his hands and stated his mind, "I am not an idiot to confess it now and scare her away. I
will be by her side and protect her silently until she gets to the age and understands it on her own. I will
wait patiently for that day when she will be capable of reciprocating my feelings for her, I can't lose her."
This was the first time Jack saw Ryan speak so much, he was someone who valued his words more
than gold. Judging by his answer it was sure that the boy had thought everything out and was serious
with his decision.
He told him he was willing to wait and keep his feelings in dark until she is old enough to understand.
She was only a 5 year old now and it will take years for her to grow up; if it is just an infatuation the boy
would give up halfway. But, he knew how stubborn and adamant the Young Master of Nguyen family
was; if he set his eyes on something he won't give up until he achieves it.
Mr. Neguyen was on the sofa answering a phone call with his wife sitting nervously beside him when
her son with a kingly aura suspended around him entered. The Mafia looked at his carefree son
removing his jacket and handing it to the maid. "Honey, you are back!" His mother's expression finally
ceased of worry seeing her son back. 'Mmm', he grunted before casually making his way upstairs; the
couple stared at each other before his father called out for him.
Ryan turned back asking for what it was but when the two stayed mum he understood and walked up
to them. The man folded his hands before finally asking, "Why didn't you come back early?" Even
though his inflection was cold and straight making it obvious that he was hot under the collar. EvenConTEent bel0ngs to Nôv(e)lD/rama(.)Org .
though his father's tone didn't make any changes to his features but his tone did become a little
respectful, "She felt lonely, so I kept her company."
"Her, who? Alfred's daughter?" Mr. Nguyen asked his son. The boy nodded in acceptance; the parents
couldn't help but stare back at each other.
"Honey, you can't stay out for this late at night! It's really dangerous... Do you know how worried we
were when you didn't come back." This time it was Mrs. Nguyen who spoke up; she was just the
opposite to the ruthless Mafia she married. She was gentle, calm and as her name, Evania suggested
she was really a peaceful woman who never spoke harshly even if she was at the peak of her anger.
Now, how his father managed to marry such a woman of beauty and virtue remains a mystery and
neither did the boy bother to know. Ryan obediently nodded before saying, "I am sorry, I made you
worry but she really needed me with her."
"But does this mean you stay out and risk it? You know who we are, how many rivals we have. One
word, if one word were to leak out that you were straying in the streets this late at night you would have
been hunted down like a mouse. Do you understand me, you unfilial son of a...?"
"Hubby!" Before the man could finish his sentence the man Evania stopped him; the man took a deep
breath and tried to calm himself down. The room was embraced by dead silence with the temperature
heating up and turning slightly suffocating. Ryan had his head hung for a while before he lifted his eyes
to meet them with his dad. He spoke out, "She is important to me, dad."
"Why? Who the heck is she to you?" The man was on the verge of bursting a vein out of anger as he
angrily demanded. Ryan's eyes turned visibly soft yet determined; who was he to her, can he simply
answer that he saw her as his entire life?
The boy nodded his head; this wasn't the right time and his parents won't understand his poetic
feelings either. He leaped off his seat and headed back to his bedroom before saying, "I will tell you
eight years later."
