Still shocked she repeated her question yet again.

“What the hell did you think you were doing Paxton?” Sydney asked again this time not being pleased as to what she had awakened to.

Paxton had withdrew his face from her and he was kind of nervous just scratching the back of his neck, he had not expected that what he was doing would end up like that.

“Sydney, I just wanted to take off the dirt from your face” he said clearing his throat nervously as it was hoarse.

“But you should have gotten me up” She countered.

“You were sleeping peacefully so I didn’t want to disturb” Paxton said gaining his voice at the moment.

“But you know you woke me up by the way” she said folding her arms across her chest as she arched a brow.

“Well I did what I thought was logical at the moment I am sorry” Paxton apologized.

“Oh don’t mind me, sorry I fell asleep I just was extremely exhausted the mind work was just too much” she apologized.

“Oh no that isn’t a problem at all I mean I would have fallen asleep too if I didn’t go out to order us some lunch” Paxton explained and this melted her heart.

“Thank you for removing dirt from my face, hope I didn’t drool on your desk” she said nervously looking around the table not wanting to make the room even more tenser than it was because she was sure feeling the way the room was getting uncomfortable.

“Well since you were asleep I decided to order some spaghetti for you and shrimps hope it would be good for you or if you don’t want we could call and cancel the order and take what you want” Paxton seethed nervously.

She felt that Paxton was trying his best to be generous hence she felt guilty for thinking bad things about him in her mind.

After she finished having the lunch he had ordered she left for her office and arranged some of her things and gave her PA some assignments to carry out.

As she walked towards the elevator for the close of the day she met with Jaxton who told her he wanted to take her home.

“But I brought my car Jaxton, hence I can go home alone” She said.

“I can take you home tonight and then I’ll come pick you up in the early hours of the morning” Jaxton said.

Sydney grudgingly went into his car she had been thinking hard on how to tell him not to keep insisting on things she didn’t want but for now she was going to calm her horses she was tired.

The ride home was not smooth as Jaxton had expected but then he still just made some time to be able to continue enjoying her company he understood she was tired.

“Thanks for the ride home” Sydney thanked him and entered her house as she entered her house not waiting for him to say whatever it was that he was saying.

Jaxton drove home and immediately he got into his house he realized his friend had been calling and he had a meeting at their club.

“Hey man” Jaxton said into the phone as his friend picked on the second ring.

“Hey Jax. I want you to come by the club right now you know that we had arrangements for the club and trust me bro, we have lots of girls here’ his friend chimed on.

“So much as that sounds so interesting and tempting, I’ll like to tell that I am not interested for the night man, I just want to rest” Jaxton explained to his friend who wasn’t having it.

“No you can’t be doing that now, just imagine that these babes have to pump on you and make you scream halleluiah” His friend tried to convince him but he declined and cut the call because he was getting all rile up and feeling as though he had to go.

“I have to stay faithful to Sydney, I love her so much and I can’t afford to mess up now” he smooth talked to himself.

He jumped into the shower for a cold shower to calm the blue balls he was having.

When Jaxton passed by the study he noticed that the light was on and he knew for a fact that his brother was in there.

Paxton was the workaholic of that two and he just didn’t like that so Jaxton made a plan to be able to stop his brother from doing that all night work.

Jaxton felt Paxton had and needed rest because working excessively was not good for his health.

He knocked but there was no response so he opened and went in and he saw his brother staring at his phone in a dazed state.

Jaxton walked closer to his brother who had yet to notice that there was someone in the room so he walked closer to his smiling brother in a bid to startle him and also to see what exactly was making his brother so amuse.

“Paxton?” he called but his brother seemed love struck.

He went behind and then he saw his brother’s phone and his eyes could not believe what it was his brother was smiling at.

“What” he exclaimed causing his brother to jerk.

“Hey bro. when did you get in here” Paxton asked trying to adjust and keep his phone down.

“I didn’t hear you enter” Paxton continued.

“Why do you have those pictures in your phone?” Jaxton asked with mixed emotion of anger and trying to calm himself.

“That’s my private business and beside you were not at the office on the day when she was being congratulated, Jaxton now what are you doing here or what do you want?” Paxton asked.

“Why do you have Sydney’s pictures on your phone?” Jaxton asked fuming but Paxton did not understand why his brother was riled up.

“Men calm your horses down” Paxton said.
