Betrayal At The Altar

Chapter 822

Chapter 822

Rachel staggered to her feet, but her legs were numb after sitting cross-legged for so long. She opened her arms to David and said with a cold voice mixed with softness, “My legs are numb. Please carry me.”

Rachel’s eyes were pure and hazy with a layer of moisture. They carried an unclear innocence and were exceptionally seductive.

David’s Adam’s apple bobbed, and his eyes darkened.

He walked closer and saw the assortment of bottles scattered around Rachel’s feet.

The bottles of Beer, liquor, and foreign wine.

No wonder they all drank so much that it was as if their souls were out of their bodies. All content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

Fortunately, Rachel looked fine.

In his impression, Rachel had never been drunk.

David picked her up horizontally. Rachel leaned on his shoulder and wrapped her arms around his neck. “David, I’m delighted today,” said she.

“Why are you delighted?” David looked down at her.

Rachel did not say anything.

A subtle dark glint flashed across David’s eyes when he saw Rachel was so quiet and behaved. “Rae- Rae, are you drunk?” he asked.

“No,” Rachel answered his question.

After a brief silence, she looked at David and said again, I’m delighted today.”

She had repeated it twice. Now, David was sure that she was drunk.

David did not say anything else to her. After carrying her horizontally, he turned and walked straight to the door.

Standing at the door, Eddie glanced at the people sprawled on the floor and asked, ‘Mr. Jones, what should we do with these. people?”

“Do as you see fit,” David said coldly before leaving with Rachel in his arms.

After getting into the car, Rachel instinctively crawled out of David’s arms.

She sat quietly on the chair, still maintaining her usual dignified and elegant posture.

“Do you want some sleep?” David asked.

Rachel turned her head and gave him a blank look.

However, the woman’s eyes were clear and blurry. She forced herself to stay awake, causing her eyes to be covered in a layer of wet mist, which made her look pitiful.

David’s throat tightened. There was an instant of restless desire in the depths of his deep pupils.

A few seconds later, he looked away and pulled the woman into his arms.

Leaning on his shoulder, Rachel buried her head in his neck and took a breath. “It smells good.”

Her warm breath landed on David’s neck, causing one of the strings in his body to tighten unexpectedly. His hands on his knees curled up slightly.

He took a deep breath, and his dark eyes were filled with a restless desire.

Rachel’s arm hooked around his neck. She leaned closer to his neck and took a deep breath. “It smells so good,” she said.

It was just a simple action of hers that disintegrated David’s self-control and made him feel a rush of fire surge into his lower abdomen.

He looked down at Rachel and hooked his arms around her waist. His well-defined fingers slowly moved along her spine. His deep and cold voice was tinged with a low and hoarse lust, revealing the texture of gravel. “Do you like it?” asked David.

“Yes” Rachel rubbed her nose tip against his neck like a kitten coquettishly nestled in his arms. “I like it,” she said.

David tightened his arms around her waist and pulled her into his arms. He pushed her hair aside with his fingertips and gently caressed her cheek with a faint smile on the corners of his mouth. His voice was low and slow, particularly seductive. Tll let you smell me enough tonight.”

In the front seat, Billy and Chris exchanged looks with meaningful smiles.

Should they say it or not? Mr. Jones’s move of taking advantage of others was really a little unbearable to watch.

However, Rachel, a drunk, was oblivious to the danger.

Her eyes sparkled with laughter. “It’s a deal,” said she.

Billy and Chris were speechless.

Alright, the little white rabbit had fallen into a trap!

The car drove rapidly all the way and finally arrived at Sandalwood Hills.

David pulled off the tie around his neck and unbuttoned two buttons of his shirt. The delicate lines of his collarbone were faintly discernible. Then, he rolled up his sleeves.

He bent down to get the slippers and then squatted to help Rachel put them on.

As he moved, the collar of his shirt was even more open, revealing his firm chest muscles.

Rachel stared straight at his neck. Her throat rolled, and her eyes became even hotter. No one knew what was in her mind.

After she changed her shoes, David held her hand and walked upstairs.

“Go back to your room and wait for me. I’ll make you a bowl of hangover soup,” said David.

Then he was about to turn around and leave.

Unexpectedly, Rachel grabbed his wrist. “I’m delighted today.”

“I know,” said David with a reluctant smile. He raised his hand and patted her head. “Be good and wait for me.”

However, Rachel was too stubborn to let it go. She held his wrist tightly, afraid he would run away in the next second.

David looked down at her and then slowly raised his eyes. The corners of his lips curled up slightly, and his deep eyes were filled with a smile. “If you don’t want to drink it, don’t drink it,’ said he.

The next second, he held the back of the woman’s head with his palms and kissed her fiercely.

Rachel woke up feeling nothing but soreness the after morning.

Her throat was so dry that it felt like she had been walking in the desert for three days and nights.

She looked at the mess in the bedroom and stared blankly at the ceiling

Last night, she blacked out last night and had no memory of what had happened at all.

However, the feeling of being thrown into the clouds and falling again was still fresh in her mind.

Half an hour later, Rachel struggled to get up and went downstairs.

As soon as she was out of her room, she saw Chris coming upstairs.

Startled, Chris pressed down her smile and called out respectfully. “Miss Grey.”

Rachel nodded slightly. When she walked past Chris, she felt that something was amiss.

“You’re awake?” Hearing the footsteps behind him, David turned to look at Rachel, who was walking down the stairs.

Rachel nodded. She looked up and saw the marks on David’s neck.

The clear marks could not be covered even if his shirt was tied tightly.

She really couldn’t bear to watch them.

Rachel moved her lips stiffly, lowered her head, and walked silently to the dining room.

After eating, Rachel sat on the sofa and secretly sized up David. “Are you not going to work today?” she asked.

“I’m not feeling well.” David looked up at her with a faint smile at the end of his eyes. He pointed at his neck. “I have to recuperate well.”

Under the guidance of his fingers, Rachel’s gaze naturally fell on his neck.

When she saw the eye-catching marks, she felt her cheeks heat up and then drooped her eyes guiltily.

Rachel took out her phone and said. “I’ll ask the others.”

Then she turned around and left like she was running away.

She dialed Aileen’s number. The phone rang for a long time before it was picked up. A weak voice sounded, “Hello.”

Hearing Vulture’s voice, Rachel frowned slightly. “Why is it you?” she asked.
