An Understated Dominance

Chapter 2076

“I’m dying to see just how badly he loses!” Ruby was indignant. She didn’t believe that an attention seeker would manage to turn the tide when even a talented prodigy like Vincent was defeated.

She was confident that the precious sword on the Renowned Treasure List was as good as hers.

“Who are you? Identify yourself!” the butler demanded as Dustin approached. He had expected Quincy to take matters into his own hands, not the sudden appearance of a young man.

With an unknown figure stepping forward, even if Marco emerged victorious, it wouldn’t enhance his reputation.

“My name is Dustin Rhys. I’m here to witness the prowess of a Kimboku warrior for myself,” Dustin declared calmly.

“You’re no match for our master. Get Quincy to duel our master,” the butler replied haughtily.

To Marco and his butler, the nobodies from Dragonmarsh were simply not worth the effort. Fighting them would only be a waste of time.

It was only by defeating prominent figures like Quincy that would they succeed in intimidating the Dragonmarshians and gaining recognition throughout the world.

“Sending Elder Douglas to fight you people is overkill. I can defeat you myself,” Dustin said indifferently.

“The audacity!” The butler’s expression grew cold. “Do you have any idea who my master is? How dare you speak so arrogantly! From your accent, I’m guessing that you’re from Dragonmarsh?”

Dustin commented impassively, “I don’t get how a grown man like you would willingly take orders from a brat. Master this, master that, all that yapping is embarrassing!”

“Who do you think you are? How dare you look down on me?”

The butler sneered, “I’ll be honest. I was indeed a lowly Dragonmarshian before, but I’ve since changed nationalities, rising to the esteemed ranks of Kimbokuan nobility! I now stand apart from the likes of you!”

“At the end of the day, a yapping dog is still a yapping dog. What a pity, you could have been an ordinary human,” Dustin mocked mercilessly.

“Y-You bastard!” The butler flew into a rage, pointing at Dustin as he roared, ” Lowly Dragonmarshian! Do you want to challenge my master? Fine! Today will be the day you lose without complaints! 11

The butler then approached Marco and began fanning the flames. “Master, this Dragonmarshian is an arrogant bastard and dares underestimate you.

“Please teach him a lesson and show him the might of a Kimboku warrior!”

“What an interesting fellow. I hope he can withstand my blade.” Marco grinned.

His first opponent was so weak that they couldn’t withstand a single blow. His second opponent, though possessing admirable strength, lacked in cultivation, preventing him from going all out.

In both battles, it was merely a warm- up for him. He truly hoped that his third opponent would surprise him. Otherwise, the duels would be disappointingly dull.

“Bastard! This final duel might also cost you your life. You should be prepared for death for daring to challenge my master!” the butler warned.

“Stop the nonsense and just make your move already,” Dustin said, beckoning them with a look of provocation.

“You, Dragonmarshian, wield your weapon!” Marco slowly raised the Demon sword in his hand.

“There’s no need. I don’t need a weapon against you,” Dustin stated calmly.

The crowd was shocked at his words.

“Damn! Is this guy insane? He dares

duel Marco with only his bare hands?”Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.
