Master of his heart (Brielle and Max)

Chapter 905

The door clicked shut behind Max, but his mind wasn't on the Dorsey family-he was thinking about Brielle.

Brielle was on her way back to the Premier Palace, with Addison behind the wheel. A quick glance in the rearview mirror told Addison they had a tail. "Ms. Brielle, hold on tight," Addison said, her voice calm and steady despite the danger.

Addison, trained to perfection, floored the gas pedal and expertly maneuvered the car, shaking off their pursuers with ease.

In the back seat, Brielle's attention remained fixed on her phone, her expression unreadable. Keiran's message had thrown her into turmoil.

Sarah was missing, and it was somehow connected to Dummy, which meant it was tied to Kenzo. Where was she now?

Brielle dialed Kenzo's number, a hunch telling her he would pick up. As expected, his gentle voice came through the line, "Brielle."NôvelDrama.Org owns this.

But Brielle didn't respond immediately; her mind was a whirlwind of emotions. After a few seconds, she finally spoke, her voice barely above a whisper, "Kenzo, are you in Beaconsfield?" Dressed in a crisp white suit, Kenzo sat in front of a computer, his lips pressed into a thin line.

"You should know I'm not," he replied, his voice as cool as ever.

Tapping away at his keyboard, Kenzo waited for her response. "Calling about the Lynch family business?"

Before Brielle could answer, a commotion outside caught Kenzo's attention, and he let out a soft chuckle. "Seems I'm not the only one curious."

He quickly wiped the computer clean and tossed it out the window, making his escape through a hidden passageway.

By the time Dustin's men stormed

the building, Kenzo was already gone. They busted in, Dustin trailing behind his bodyguards, all dressed in black like a funeral procession.

But the room was empty. The house was surrounded, leaving no apparent escape. But Dustin knew better. "Search for a secret passage," he ordered.

As the bodyguards began their hunt, a ticking sound reached Dustin's ears. His eyes darted to a red switch on the wall, and he cursed before darting toward the window. "Retreat!" he shouted.

He was the first to leap out, hitting the ground just as the second story erupted into flames. Dustin landed with a rot, his face a mask of fury as he looked back at the inferno that

had once been the upper floor.

Beneath the ground, Kenzo continued his phone call with Brielle, seemingly unfazed. "You want news about her?"

Brielle, hearing the explosion, felt a tightness in her chest. "Yes."

Kenzo paused, his common sense warring with his reluctance to end the call. "She's fine," he said, his steps slowing. "But how she fares later isn't up to me."

"Kenzo, can you tell me what you all really want?" Brielle asked, her intuition screaming that the Lynch family wasn't their only target.

Kenzo stopped walking. Brielle

waited for his answer, hearing only

his breathing. Just when she

thought he wouldn't respond, he said, "I've recently uncovered some things. Once I'm certain, I'll tell you."

The line went dead.

Brielle stared at her phone's dark screen, then shot a message to Dustin. Any luck?

She had synced her phone's signals to Dustin, allowing him to listen in and track Kenzo's location. But Kenzo had hung up too quickly, probably realizing this. He's gone.
