Chapter 6
Chapter 6
The castle was breathtaking. The walls were of white stone, contrasted with the pastel grey roof.
Elegant windows are scattered here and there in a very random pattern.
Seven slim, but strong wooden pillars surround the magestic place with flags flying on top of them.
I notice that Adonis holds my hand, making tingles erupt and leads me to the huge iron gate, which has
two flags flying on it.
A closer look at them, tells me that they are black with a beautiful golden crown engraved on them.
Two guards stand guarding the enormous gate and as soon as we come, they bow their heads and
open the gates.
Is he like the king or something?
We soon enter the marble porch which is filled with loads of cars. I look on my left side to see a huge
garden, with lush green grass and various flowers. I see some swings as well on which some kids are
playing.
After climbing on some steps, we reach the wooden door on which their is the same crown engraved.
"Welcome to the nightstar castle" Adonis said in his husky voice, which made me drool.
The door opened and as we entered, I was met with a huge lounge with black and white walls and
maroon sofas.
There was an elevator on the left side to which I was taken.
Adonis pressed the third button and we soon reached the third floor.
The elevator opened and I was met with a smiling man. He had tamed brown hair, jet black eyes, that
fair pale skin and his body was slim but it still looked well built.
"Hi, finally!" he said smirking towards Adonis, and then motioning his hands toward me.
To be honest, this was the first person I had seen who wasn't bowing to Adonis or wasn't scared of him.
And that was why I already liked this dude.
I confidently bought my arm forward and shook his hand to which Adonis growled.
Wait, did he just growl?
"Good morning King" he said bowing to Adonis in a sarcastic manner.
"Would you please like to move from here so I could show her around the house" Adonis asked him,
clearly annoyed.
"Clearly not, because I see how bored and scared she is with you, so I would like to give her the house
tour myself. May I brother?" he asked.
Oh so they were brothers?
Adonis looked at me and then to his brother.
"I need her in my office in half an hour." he commanded and then walked off.
Yayyy.
"May I?" he said, motioning his hand towards me.
"Sure" I replied, giving him my hand.
" So Luna how are you liking this place?" he asked me.
"Luna?" I asked confused.
He looked at me with a confused expression, but then smiled.
"When you won't tell me your name, then I would obviously call you by other names." he replied, while
chuckling awkwardly.
"Oh, it's Pearl" I replied.
"Precious." he chuckled.
"And yours?" I asked.
" Alexander the seventh." he said bowing down with a smirk on his face.
I really liked this man.
After that he showed me all around the floor in which I was to live in. It had five rooms. One which
belonged to Adonis, one was Adonis's office, then one which belonged to their parents, one which
belonged to Alexander and one was empty, mostly used as a guest room.
Alexander had his room designed with all that guitars and music instruments, because apparently he
loved music and I was yet to see the other rooms because they were 'private property'.
Adonis also showed me an elegantly designed lounge with an open kitchen. The walls were covered
with a dull bage velvet wallpaper, while the sofas were dark brown, giving it an antique look.
The lounge had a huge window, which led to a terrace or you could say a huge terrace. It had a huge
pool in it with beach chairs surrounding it.
Then they also had a little garden area, with picnic chairs and tables on it.
The view from the terrace was amazing, it gave the view of the town ahead, the small houses and the
beautiful lake.
I had spent an amazing time with Alexander and now we were currently heading to his brother's office.
"Why is this place called nightstar?" I asked him.
He looked at me with a look which said, 'Don't you know?'
I shook my head.
"The stars come very close to the kingdom at night and it's magical. Everyone gathers on their
terraces, every Friday night in search of the shooting star and when they see it, they make a wish and
fly a lantern" he told me.
"Wow..." I replied, clearly imagining the scene, and this lead me to bumping into Adonis's door.
"Good one" Alexander replied, while chucking.
He opened the door, without hesitation.
I stepped inside to be met with an annoyed Adonis.
Alexander clearly slumped on the couch, while I took a seat opposite Adonis.
"You can leave now." Adonis asked Alexander, while eying me carefully.
"Yes Ozymandius" Alexander replied in a gruff voice while walking out the door.
So his name was Ozymandius?
"Ozymandius" I tested on my lips. This belongs © NôvelDra/ma.Org.
I looked at Adonis - I mean Ozymandius, who had his eyes shining golden.
"Say that again." he whispered, while putting his hands in his hair, and looking at me with that
intimidating gaze of him.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing." he said, straightening his pose and becoming serious again.
"Now we have somethings to discuss."
